STORIES THAT READ YOU! The Novels of Steven Clark Bradley
2008-02-07 00:35:00
There is nothing greater than writing & creating something from nothing. It's the closest thing to the divine! The ability to create worlds and personalities, to describe something so powerfully it can make the reader laugh with joy, shiver in fear or cry in sorrow and empathy and to then breathe into them the breath of literary life is a gift from God; a process that starts in human imagination and comes to life on the printed page. It is the thing that separates us from the rest of creation! It is exactly what God did when He stepped into nothing and created something that lives and breathes!  read more &raqu-o;
Nimrod - Are We At The End Of Our Days?
2008-02-04 06:48:00
This is a poem I wrote for Nimrod Rising and is at the beginning of the book. The words in these phrases greatly demonstrate the premise of Nimrod Rising. I hope it will speak to you. Are we at the end of our days? The army of God stands poorly arrayed. Is the final hand about to be played? While the Word of God is so poorly displayed? Are we at the end of our days?  read more &raqu-o;
Initiation by tribulation
2008-02-02 19:13:00
An important concept not being recognized by the church is Christ's temptation in the wilderness. Christians are understanding it literally, when in fact it symbolizes the a rite of passage for the brothers and sisters who are predestined for Glory, the children of promise. This temptation is to do with a 'season' which has to be lived out by those who share in the heavenly calling. Temptation by sin(the devil) is actually to do with testing, being tried, or proven by sin(the devil), which more accurately reflects the word used in those times. The number 40 appears throughout the scriptures and signifies this generation and times of testing. It rained 40 days during the flood. Moses spent 40 years in the desert and Jesus was 40 days in the wilderness undergoing a period or probation, discipline or quarantine. In Deuteronomy 8:2, “and thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord the God led thee these 40 years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what ...

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation
2008-02-01 17:58:00
2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.Good morning dear friends, I hope that yesterday was a wonderful day. The church went out on visitation last night like we do every Thursday night,however last night was probably the coldest and wettest night that we endured yet. I am happy to say though that there was no major complaining and all of us made our visits and then some! It never ceases to amaze me though that when you knock on somebodys door and offer them Jesus they have so many excuses not to listen. Most of the folks the preacher and I visited were at home snuggled up in the warmth of thier house, and either had a beer popped open, or very well could've been on some type of drugs. Now there was one gentleman who told us that he appreciated us being out on such a night, and that we must be sincere. I would like to believe we are more than sin...
Nimrod Rising Reviewed - Who can you trust these days?
2008-01-24 00:03:00
Reviewer: Yvonne Perry Author Website: www.stevenbradley.net It?s a book you can?t help but admire as much as you hate its topic. I admire the author, Steven Clark Bradley, for taking on such a task. One thing I asked myself throughout the book is: Is the story fiction or is it true? One can only hope it is fiction, but the evidence paralleled by world events says there?s a good chance that what we are seeing may really be the end of the world. But, who knows? And, who will be here to witness it, anyway?  read more &raqu-o;
Nimrod Rising - A Novel By Steven Clark Bradley
2008-01-23 23:24:00
Review: Steven Clark Bradley's third book,Nimrod Rising is a book that seeks to answer where the terrorist scourge that currently plagues the world came from. The premise of the book is that the evil hitting the world is more than just a political phenomenon. He paints the picture that starts actually more than 4,000 years ago when the first organized Satan worshiper, Nimrod, the first king of Babylon, is born resulting from a pact made with Lucifer by Nimrod?s father Cush. As Auther Steven Clark Bradley says on the back of the book, "Ride the storm of Nimrod Rising."  read more &raqu-o;

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.Good morning friends and readers. Well it snowed a little in Tennessee and my family and I had a fun time watching the flakes fall and the fun of a snowman and snowballs. What an enjoyable moment in a turbulent world. I have been going through the book of John slowly and I came across the last verse here of Chapter 16. In it the Lord Jesus makes it pretty plain for the cures of the common problem of this world, and how to have comfort in this physical world. The answer dear friend is Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus was just explaining to His disciples about His death, Resurrection and return, this is a part of the gospel message, and Jesus was explaining that in this present world there would be tribulations, there would be a time when people that kill you because you believe in Jesus Christ that they are doing God service...
Shall We Go Through the "Great Tribulation"?
2007-12-27 18:05:00
by A. E. Knoch This question would never be asked if God's beloved saints understood the Mystery of the Gospel and its companion truth, the Secret of the Resurrection. Very briefly, therefore, we will consider God's attitude toward the world in this administration, and His gracious dealings with His saints, as well as the special secret connected with our resurrection at His coming. Apart from this we will be sure to confuse the truth of this economy with that of the next. We will fail to correctly partition between this day of salvation and the coming one of God's indignation. We will be misled by the Bible itself, thinking we have its support, when, in reality, we are applying to ourselves what belongs to others. There is no more insidious error for earnest Bible students than the misplacing of His words. Paul is the apostle for the nations. He was entrusted with the evangel of the Uncircumcision, as Peter of the Circumcision. Luther's translation of this passage (Gal.2:7) is...

Is this the new ’style’ of things?? The kid isn’t happy with his school or something in/at the school so he plans a ‘mas destruction’?? We didn’t plot to destroy our school or kill our teachers and classmates, all we were worried about was the ‘Big Game’ on Friday night, who we were going out with and was the ‘draft’ going to grab us any time soon… What is motivating some of these kids today?? (AP) - More than metal detectors or security cameras, the key to halting school violence is communication, safety specialists said at a White House-led summit Tuesday. Parental responsibility… Somewhere in this equation, parental responsibility has GOT TO figure in… Parents need to find a way to spend some ‘quality’ time with their children, not just passing each other and grunting a hello, if that… Ask questions, be nosy, yeah, the kids are going to scream about their privacy, but they are STILL kids, and parents ‘can’ allow freedoms, as freedoms are earned, but parental control, responsible parental control, is STILL the key… Police find 60 bodies in Baghdad BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi police found 60 bodies dumped across Baghdad in the 24 hours until Tuesday morning, the apparent victims of sectarian death squads blamed for escalating violence that threatens to pitch the country in...
