Ringolsby says Garrett Atkins is staying put, which should help the third baseman relax a little bit. This echoes Renck's sentiments yesterday. Renck also noted that the Rox won't be offering Atkins a multiyear deal anytime soon. Yesterday Renck said that after Yorvit Torrealba, the Rockies were considering Jose Molina, Paul Lo Duca, Jason Kendall, and Ramon Castro for catcher. However Ringolsby says today that Michael Barrett and Kendall are the main targets. Renck has come on board with that today, noting that Dan O'Dowd has contacted the agents for Barrett, Kendall, and Lo Duca. 2007-03-11 17:30:00 Troy Tulowitzki: Tulowitzki suffered no obvious fracture when he was hit with a pitch on his right forearm Saturday but will be X-rayed Sunday, the Denver Post reports. GM Dan O'Dowd said team doctor Tom Hackett did "a ton of different movements" with Tulowitzki's wrist and arm, did not detect any fracture and thought Tulowitzki would be sore for a few days. While that was obviously the best-case scenario, it was not conclusive. "You could do all that," O'Dowd said, "and it still could be fractured when they do an X-ray."
