Rees bekannt gibt, auch wenn die Chance hierfür gering sei. Tatsächlich wäre es mehr als wünschenswert dass dem so ist. SCOTUS hat bereits in Verfahren seine Entscheidung verkündet, bei denen die Anhörung lange vor Baze stattgefunden hat.

Troy Brown Not In Patriots Plans For 2008
2008-03-13 17:22:00 After only playing one game in 2007 after having spent a good portion of the season on the PUP list veteran wide receiver Troy Brown looks like he will not be back in New England for a 16th season. According to an article in the Boston Globe it looks highly unlikely that if Brown were to play in 2008 that it would be in Foxboro. The team recently informed Brown he did not fit in their plans and he was free to seek offers from other teams. Brown played last year under a one-year deal for the veteran minimum base salary of $820,000, $435,000 of which was guaranteed. He also had a $40,000 signing bonus. The 15 seasons in a Patriots uniform is second only to the 16 logged by former quarterback Steve Grogan. He matched the 15 seasons played by defensive lineman Julius Adams.
