Myth of Tutsi Invasion theory

Genesis of Hutu-Tutsi conflictAn Article by Saumitra SenThe concept of Aryan Invasion theory being a handiwork of the German for the sake of proving the superiority of the European Caucasian races is not an isolated case. There exist a similar theory in other part of the world, involving other nations and other ethnicities and I wonder why hasn?t anyone yet given an attention over that.If we see the map of middle Africa, we see two little countries named Rwanda and Burundi, bordering Zaire (or Democratic Republic of Congo). With the name Rwanda it suddenly flashes in our mind, the picture of ethnic violence, civil war, genocide and military juntas. Few Indians know the history of Rwanda or Burundi. How about seeing a car driving its way on a bumpy-road-with-piles-of-dead-f-lesh.A lot of innocent people were involved in the 'war' but these people have no choice but to be part of the 'war'... they have no choice but to wait until the so called 'war' is over.Engaging into a war does not give man any good. I...

2007-05-05 13:53:00
By Gitura Mwaura Unlike with the previous regimes, Rwanda?s current official view is that Rwandans are one and the same people, with the law not recognising the identities of Hutu, Tutsi and Twa.   To the perception of many inside and outside Rwanda, however, is the notion of the identities being ?ethnic? groups, with its persistence mainly being ...
