I saw a most amazing hat on Brooklyn Tweed's blog and was simply dying to try out the pattern, however the pattern is featuring in an American magazine - and not easily available in England. What to do? Oh well, I decided it couldn't possibly be any harder than I could work it out for myself. At least I'd have a go at it, before I give up... I had one ball left of this green sparkly wool. It's a bit thicker than recommended, but will do for now. So far I have made it past the rib and in to the first set of cables. It looks as if I'm doing something right. We'll see what happens once I start decreasing...Wish me luck!
