Review of Megadeth's United Abominations
2007-08-13 17:43:00 Taylor Green of Transform online reviewed Megadeth's latest album, United Abominations.United Abominations seems like an album with purpose, and the first album with said purpose since the aforementioned Youthanasia. By channeling everything gone awry with the world today, a fire has been lit under Megadeth and it seems far from being put out. Meanwhile, Dave continues to prove his legacy among not only guitarists, but songwriters and lyricists as well. And even as the tracks pour out the speakers, one can't help but anticipate how songs like "Sleepwalker" and "Gears of War" will be incorporated into the band's upcoming 90-minute set at Gigantour this fall. It seems like a renaissance has taken over Megadeth at the perfect time. It's hard to imagine the band getting any more complete than during the early ?90s albums, but it seems Dave still has a few tricks up his sleeve.Read more here.

2007-07-08 20:52:00 United Abominations (2007) is the best Megadeth album in at least a decade. The band's current lineup is a good one, with guitarist Glen Drover, bassist James LoMenzo and drummer Shawn Drover. This CD features some outstanding guitar work from Drover and Mustaine. There are some killer riffs, and it's nice to hear some classic style extended solos. The Following 5 trackz, Constantly SHuntesi......... I think these are The Bests.... * Washington is Next Sleepwalker Burnt Ice Play for Blood Blessed are the dead. * Keu shune thakle...... review it.
