It seems google has followed the move in just a matter of hours and Marissa Mayer, Vice President of Search Products and User Experience has posted a post on the official Google blog announcing the agreement with twitter to include its updates in Google’s search results. Asthma and marathon training updates
2009-09-11 15:40:00 It’s generally been a rough couple of months on the asthma front. This disease has been kicking my butt. Seems like Ive been sick more often than not. A couple weeks ago I started flaring again pretty severely, and as a result, had to up my prednisone to 50mg for a few days. The prednisone did it’s job this time and kept me out of the hospital, but weaning back down was really tough. I always have a difficult time tapering down below 25mg…. my peak flows bottom out and my symptoms come back with a vengeance. I probably wean too fast, but I know my body, and I would rather risk rebounding and breath crumby for a few days, then to stay on the higher doses and suffer the side effect of the prednisone itself. A few weeks back I had a sleep study and echo-cardiogram done to see if they might shed some light on why I’ve been having such a difficult time with my breathing at night. Funding Updates: Sequoia Invests Rs.40 Crore In Just Dial, Itzcash Gets Rs.
2009-07-24 13:50:00 The private equity deals seems to have taken off looking at current positive economic indicators and even Local search space seems to be attracting lot of VC action. In a follow up Sequoia capital has invested Rs.40 Crores in Just Dial, online and offline based Local search company. VCCircle reports that the investment would be through secondary means and constitutes less than 10 per cent stake valuing the company in upwards of Rs. 400+ crores. Just Dial earlier acquired funding from SAIF Partners in 2006 and hedge fund Tiger Global in 2007. Sequoia Capital recently invested in Cyber cafe advertising company–Ideacts. In December last fiscal, Yahoo had acquired a 30% stake in telephone-directory search service Call Ezee. Just Dial had revenues of Rs 91 crore in FY09, and expects to reach Rs 130 crore this year. About paid updates
2009-07-15 16:36:00 One year ago we introduced new software update policy which assumed paid access to WebAsyst software updates: 25% of the original purchase price for 1 extra year of updates (after the first year passes). According to this change updates were about to become paid for many of WebAsyst and Shop-Script users on September 1st, 2009. However, we have several critical arguments against this paid update policy, and that is why we decided to suspend switching to paid updates for now. Let us get back to this issue someday in the future. For now we continue to offer WebAsyst software updates for all our customers for free.
