He started out as a model for numerous brands like Hugo Voss, Paul Smith and Zegna but the desire to make an entry into Bollywood inspired him to shift to the music video industry where he featured in the video of a remix song alongside the female actor, ?Udita Goswami?. Such efforts were good enough for him to be noticed and he debuted in the murder mystery film ?36 China Town? which also starred Akshaye Khanna, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. The film enjoyed good success at the box office and his role as a Casanova was very much appreciated.
