Hillary?s Upper Deck Card is Selling for Nearly $4,000
2008-02-17 00:55:00 Hillary’s Presidential Upper Deck card went from run of the mill to limited edition in a hurry, and now it is selling on eBay for close to $4,000. Why? First off, it’s because it is so funny, or depending who you are, offensive: “We wanted this set to be light and humorous and chronicle presidential history,” explained Terry Melia, Upper Deck’s public relations manager. “We married each candidate to a character or moment in baseball history.” The cards (sprinkled through the regular baseball card set at a ratio of one per every eight packs) feature a caricature of each presidential candidate in a baseball role.
