How I Wish..
2008-03-30 16:30:00
...making money was as easy as making hotel reservation. Seriously think of it this way.. it is so easy to spend money. In fact, give me five thousand dollars right now and within a few minutes, I guarantee you it'd be gone but ask me to earn five thousand dollars and I really can't give you an answer when that would happen.Anyway, back to that hotel reservation bit. It is really so easy to find information on hotels nowadays. You'll not only get the best deal but you can compare and contrast rates and facilities available at the hotel even before reaching your destination. For instance, if I was going to London or New York, I just go to this site, enter my arrival and departure dates and presto, all the available hotels would be featured complete with pictures of the rooms, pricing, facilities and even nearby landmarks. Cool right? And you'll even be offered up to 75% discount on room rates when you book online with them. Now that I have all this information at hand, I just need...
A Holiday in the Horizon?
2008-03-30 15:19:00
I think I have dropped enough hints to hubby these past few weeks through our conversations and through my other blog (yes he does read it..yey!) that I needed that long overdue vacation because today I saw his web browser opened to a website that offers packages and cheap flights. He has not said anything yet so the suspense is really killing me..lolz..The page was opened to packages to Indonesia so my guess would probably be Bali. Oh, that would be awesome because I really loved Bali. My last trip there was so great that I told myself I would return. Such beautiful beaches, sunset, shopping and don't forget the best massage I ever had anywhere.A vacation at last?? Stay tune :-)Cheerio...

Exhibition made easy
2008-03-27 19:38:00
Back in my working days, I remembered having to liaise with exhibition contractors whenever we had participated in trade exhibition or fair. Though the contractors were very professional, I can't help but wonder if I could have had a much better looking booth if I had been able to know what's out there in the market as oppose to just depended on them to tell me.Well, now I can. There are so many brilliantly designed trade show displays that featured truss and banner stands and the best thing is I can actually see it online instead of having to visualize in my head. Sites like Camelbackdisplay dot com lets me, the client, know what's available out there to be able to let me make an informed decision to further enhance the look of my exhibition area. Everyone knows that design attract crowds. So now, I know exactly where to go whenever I need an awesome looking booth. Excellent!Cheerio...

Viva Las Vegas
2008-03-01 21:10:00
I just love watching the tv series Las Vegas and CSI. While Las Vegas offers a more relaxed story line, CSI has never failed me in terms of mind boggling cases. Both shows are equally fun and entertaining. In case you don't know what I am talking about, Las Vegas is a tv series revolving around the characters working in a Las Vegas hotel. Each week the plot would involve what else but gambling and how the casino gamblers would find ways to cheat the house. However, we all know the house never lose.CSI is short for criminal scene investigators or investigation. These people are the first to arrive at the crime scene and they would process all the evidence to be presented to the district attorney's office. They analyze DNA, blood splatters pattern, bullets and at one time alien abduction!Don't you just love tv :)Cheerio...

Prohormones?
2008-02-16 15:27:00
After my fibroid surgery, a friend told me that the doctor would probably prescribed me with some hormone pills to get me pregnant and because of that I would probably get twins or even triplets. That is just fine by me. Approaching forty, I need all the help I can get and if I can push it to three at one go, why not? Get it over and done with right. Then close down the factory ...lolzzz...So when I came across this site on prohormones, I was curious to find out just what it was. When I am a Landlord...
2008-02-16 09:20:00
One thing I hate about renting a house is the household features that the owners thrust upon its tenant. One thing that has become a pet peeve for me for me is the kitchen. Some owners are nice enough to provide kitchen cabinets while others just assume we put our pots and pans on the floor! However, what really irks me is the kitchen sink. Most of them would select the very basic single bowl sink which is very shallow, then they would provide the faucet that is too long that makes washing pots and pans nearly impossible so much so that I have to wash them in the bathroom. I'm not asking for a nice Hansgrohe faucet, but a realistic one will do. Most of time, hubbs got to buy a shorter one to accommodate my requirements.I mean, is it too much to want to make your tenant feel comfortable in a house that they would call home for a duration of time. I don't think so and if I ever become a landlord myself, there would be no complaints in that department. Just make sure you pay your rent...
Good Posture to a Beautiful You
2008-02-16 08:58:00
Everyone know the importance of good posture, be it for health or beauty purposes.Health because it makes sure that the force of gravity through our body is distributed evenly so that no one structure is overstressed, and beauty because no one likes to see a sloucher. Also, for me, standing up and sitting straight always makes me feel more confident and when you are confident, you are more beautiful. That is why posture correction is so important. If you are unfortunate enough to not have anyone comment on your posture or help you to correct yours, you can try the posture corrector like the one shown below. This supportive brace helps you to correct your posture while offering support to back strain which is a big possibility if your posture is bad. Best of all, it can be hidden well in most kind of clothing. Here's to a healthier and beautiful you...

Well it simply means that being a wife to a computer hardware guy like my hubby is, I am expected to know what is an ethernet switch, an ethernet card, a Cat 5 cable, RJ45, face plates, patch panel and media converters. Wow that was a mouthful! It also means, I have to keep up to speed with terminology like SATA, IDE, PCI cards etc, etc, coz otherwise I would not understand half of what he's saying and I don't want to be excluded from any conversation or to be appear stupid when I open my mouth. The Party Starts Here!

Part of being a woman that I love so much is when I get to organize parties and events. I'm a control freak and I will gladly admit it. I remember when I was getting married, I refuse to let anyone handle anything. Although being a bride was hard enough with all the fittings, the trial makeup and hairdo, I was still running around selecting souvenirs for the guest, sourcing out caterers and even invitation cards. It's been a while since I've been involved with any planning. The last being my SIL's wedding five years ago. That is why I volunteer my services to a friend of mine who is getting ready to do her first communion invitations. She has tonnes of other things to do so I figured I helped her out with this aspect of the event and who knows I may even get to dabble with other things as well.. Oohhh fun!!Cheerio...

Cool Travel Machines
2008-02-03 05:36:00
We women love our beautiful things. But then again what gender doesn't so let me rephrase that. We love beautiful things. That includes from clothes, shoes, accessories and cars.Speaking of cars, I had an education with my hubby yesterday as we were waiting for his car to to be repaired at the shop. He showed me how accessories can make or break the way a car looks. From paint job, to tinted windows to tires. He also showed me how chrome accessories like chrome trim, rear spoilers and cargo liners, can make all the difference in the way a car look. From a normal looking car, you'll get one awesome cool looking travel machine. And you know what? He's right. I saw a car being transformed right before my very eyes at the shop. Cheerio...
My Imaginary Weight Problem?
2008-01-30 16:50:00
What is it with women and the weighting machine? I woke up early today and decided to weigh myself. Who know? After my surgery and the removal of those three alien things, I might weigh lighter! Lolzz... What a bunch of crab but hey I won't know until I get on that darn weighing machine. My hubby keeps saying this weight problem of mine is just imaginary and that all I need to do is tone up but darling, scales don't lie!So the moment of truce. I got on the scale and OMG! I gained one kilo! How did that happened?? Arghhhh!!! If not for the fact I am done with laparoscopic procedure for the time being, I might just consider getting one of those lap-band Woodlands procedure. Dr. Richard Collier sure has done lots of these procedure before and for those of you that are interested, there's a free seminar on the topic in February. The Easier Way To Shop

I always say how I love technology. This is especially so true when it comes to shopping. Where else can you find products like Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses if not for online shopping? I mean if the prices don't entice you, the design of glasses available here definitely would. I simply fell in love with this one. It is so trendy and the price is unbelievable at only USD8.00 with the lenses. And the best thing about it is, it is done online. You just choose your frame, put in your prescription that you can easily get from your current optician, confirmed your order and your new glasses would be on their way to you.I am so glad I found this website. Start The Year Right!
2008-01-26 17:57:00
You know how people always makes resolution every new year and end up forgetting about them throughout the year? Well not me. You want to know why? Coz I don't make any. I just try to be the best person I can, striving to be a better person day in and day out. One of the things that I try to do is help people, sometimes in terms of donation and sometimes in terms of volunteer work. Due to shortage of time, however, I don't get to do much of that anymore as compared to when I was in school, so the next best thing is to donate. One new way to donate that I found is through a car donation. A non-profit company, Car Angel, takes up all sorts of donation including cars to make videos for kids and teens just like the one below. Over 2.4million videos have been given away!So if you have a car to give away, why not donate it to Car Angel?Cheerio...
Real Estate Chat
2008-01-26 10:04:00
Speaking of dream homes, let me stress on how important it is to find a good real estate agent. A good agent would pay attention to your needs and your wants while a bad one will only be concerned about their commission.Take it from someone who had an extremely bad experience before, it ain't fun. In fact your dream home might turn out to be your nightmare home. Some of these agents are very new in the line but the way they portrayed themselves is like they have been in the industry for ages simply because that is how they are trained. Then when posed with certain unusual circumstances, they freak out and disappear leaving us with an exclusive contract that we can't get out of and stuck with them for three months without any action. So moral of the story, get a real estate agent from word of mouth, someone that is recommended by friends or someone you trust. Alternatively get one from reputable company that has a long standing record of success.Cheerio...
Home With A Picket Fence

I believe it is every women's dream to own a house with a white picket fence, or at least every girl's romantic dream that is. Just like finding her prince charming that would sweep her off her feet and they both ride off towards the sunset kind of thing. Hehe.. I guess it's this romantic month that is bringing all this up.. sigh...Anyway, back to that dream house, Wilmington real estate has a featured properties that simply caught my eye coz it is so beautiful. Although it does not have a picket fence right now, that could easily be installed later on.Look at it. Ain't it quaint! You should check out the interior. The kitchen is too die for. Valentine's Day Shopping
2008-01-19 07:23:00
Valentine's Day is around the corner ladies. And again that is cause for shopping... Yeay!!! Me and hubbs personally don't celebrate this day coz we believe everyday is a day for love and getting something for someone you love requires no special day. That being said, everything is so expensive around this time because stores are taking advantage of this very commercialised holiday. So be smart about where and when you shop. If possible at all shop early, possibly as early as Christmas when everything is at a discount. Alternatively you can shop online. Some store offers fantastic discount or free shipping despite the holiday. Kohls coupon codes for example gives you 15% of your order and 30% Off no minimum when you use your Kohl's card.So go ahead and shop for your loved ones this Valentine's day but remember shop smart and wise.. after all we are the women of the house ;)Cheerio...
Stop the Pop!
2008-01-19 06:48:00
What is the one thing that I detest while surfing? I have to say it and I'm sure it is unanimously agreed that it has to be Popups. Am I wrong?I don't mind the ones that popup after I leave the site but those that appear as I enter is an absolute "no, no" and I don't think I would want to visit the site again. I mean I understand it is an ad and it is supposed to attract attention but come on, I'm already there at your site, I'll look around and if there is something I like, I'll click on it, ok.So that is why I've installed popup blocker on my laptop and desktop. One particular one I like is STOPzilla, the most advanced pop-up protection available. Aside from just stopping pop-up, it also, detects, blocks, and quarantines Spyware and Adware in true real time. It also has an on-demand & automatic Spyware scanning. The software also updates automatically for optimal protection. It kills browser hijackers, removes rootkits, prevents botnet attacks, blocks phishing attacks...

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken
2008-01-18 19:12:00
Do you know what I have been eating ever since I'm recuperating? I have to take care of what I eat. For example, I can't eat any seafood like prawns, squid and cockles for fear that the wound would itch as it heals. I got to stay away from certain fruits for fear of too much acid in the tummy and I got to take some tonic that I don't really enjoy just because it's good for healing.Luckily for me though, I'm still able to have my chicken. What can I say? I love chicken and you have to admit it is healthier than beef or mutton. Plus chicken is so easy to prepare and cook. You can fry it, you can easily marinate and roast it or even grill it just like El Pollo Loco?s Mexican chicken. Yummy!By the way, you can view funny videos about El Pollo Loco's Grill chicken over at the website.Cheerio...
Women Can Do Anything!
2008-01-18 09:03:00
I am so proud of women nowadays. We can be anything we want to set our hearts to be. "The sky's the limit' they say and that is so so true nowadays.Just recently I was watching a show on Astro and it was something about constructions and mega buildings and bomb expert. Guess what?! The head foreman was a "ForeWoman". Woman was I impressed! This forty something lady with two kids was also taking a step ahead in her career development as she is taking a further course in the construction industry to be someone more skilled and with more responsibilities on her shoulders.I guess when you are in a so-called "Men" industry, you always have to be a step ahead so that you won't be frowned on unnecessarily. That is the challenge everyday but to have a staff of men listening and looking up to you for guidance must feel awesome! More power to you girl!Cheerio...

Actually he not only collect watches but he also collects unique antiques clocks as well, you know the mechanical ones that you have to wind like once a day or something.Hubby is also a collector of some sorts although not as enthusiastic as his father. He has a few dress watches but only one sports watch that he used daily. I think he will definitely love this Technomarine watch that I saw online today. There's a hot discount deal going on. You can get up to 60% discount on the products found at the website. It's so hard to find a gift for hubby sometimes. This might just be it this time.Cheerio...
Hey Ma, Calls are Cheap Now
2008-01-16 01:10:00
I remembered when I was "dating" my boyfriend (my hubby now), how expensive it was to make phone calls. SMS or texting was an alien term and webcam was a futuristic tool. So for sure we were both making the telecommunication company and the airline rich! lolzz..If only there were such company like iconnecthere dot com then. From what I read at their website they are now offering Unlimited Calling Plan worldwide. For just a small amount of $29.99 per month, I get unlimited calls to any destination I like which means I can call mommy for as long as I want! The first month subscription is also free because as a new customer, you'll get $30 when you sign up although this is for a limited time only.Ahh.. technology...ain't it wonderful..Cheerio...
Consolidation - The Way to Go...

Keeping your discipline when shopping is never easy. A friend of mine just don't have enough of it. I got a phone call early yesterday morning from J. She sounded frantic and she was talking in circles. Once I calmed her down she told me that her finances are in chaos and her debtors are out to get her. It seemed my dear friend has multiple credit cards and had gone on a shopping spree last Christmas and now she can't afford to even pay the monthly minimum.Hmm.. time for some serious intervention. I advised her to get a personal loan immediately so that she can pay whatever amount is outstanding on all her cards to avoid any unnecessary interest. This way she now need to pay only one creditor and as personal loan carries a lower interest rate, she can save from that as well. I then advise her on the evil of credit cards! ( me older than her, so lots of experience in that department..lolz). I also told her to use caution the next time she uses any credit card and make sure she alw...
Bad Credit Woes
2008-01-15 20:44:00
I knew of someone who has lived with bad credit. She was young when she made the mistake of overspending on her credit card. She was naive when she did not make it a habit to save while having a permanent position in a big multinational company. She thought the future was in her hands. Then the recession hit and she got laid off and to find another high paying job like the one she got before looked like an impossible feat. She started missing out on her minimum sum monthly and the interest accumulated. The credit card company declared her bankrupt before she was even able to take up any personal loan to furnish her credit card payment. Then she found the perfect site that she was able to use as reference for her problems. This site has listings of all financial institution that offers individuals like herself bad credit loans. She was able able to secure a loan in no time to sustain her life for the time being. She is now fully employed and able to pay off all her liabilities each mo...

I hate lizards. I say it again. I hate lizards! And cockroach and ants and other pest that makes life miserable. Just today for instance, while pouring a fresh new packet of sugar into a container, I noticed ants. Yeap! Ants in my unopened brand new sugar packet. What is a lady to do?? I had to scoop them out bit by bit lah.. There goes thirty minutes of my life :(Lucky for me, there isn't any scorpion around or something here in the apartment. However, I heard that in the Phoenix area, the bark scorpion, the most dangerous type of scorpion can be found in house dwellings. Luckily a Phoenix scorpion exterminator is just a phone call away. Blue Sky Pest Control has a very successful service plan that works. Their premium service is fully guarantee. So if you are in Phoenix and is having problems with scorpions, why not try their free pest evaluation and get $50 off their Blue Sky Service Plan.As for me, I'm still fighting with ants. One Week Ago...

It was exactly a week ago, at 9am. I remember hearing the time announcement over at the PA system at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital. I was waiting on my bed in the operating waiting area. I was cold as I only had my surgical gown and blanket and I guess I was also shivering from fear. Fear of the unknown.I had a very restless sleep last night even dreaming I was on an elliptical trainer running...right on LJ!..lolzz.. Actually I slept at 4am after hubs left me at the hospital this morning. I was the only habitant of the room and the other three beds were empty. After counting sheeps for the millionth times, I finally dozed off only to be awaken at 5am by the nurses to take my blood pressure and temperature. I was again left all alone after that. As my operation was scheduled for 8.30am or so, I decided to get cleaned up. I took a quick shower and since I was supposed to be fasting, means no breakfast. Not knowing what else to do, I started reading my Quran.I did not even know ...
Fibroid Adventure Part 2

It ain't Branson hotels, but it was home for three days and I guess I got to make the best of it right? The view from my room....My second day at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital Wad 302 on 5th January 2008 started at 5am with the nurses coming over to take my blood pressure and temperature. Next I was given a bath by two young nurses (no wonder men liked to be hospitalised eh?).When they first brought up the bed to a sitting position, I cried out in pain as that was the first time I moved since the operation. I was told that I actually got to move around more to hasten the blood flowing out of my womb and that if I feel any pain, I'm supposed to just press on that magic button and the pain would go away. Now I know..hehehe...Anway, the sponge bath went on for around 15minutes or so. I was asked if I wanted a cup of Milo and I graciously said yes as I had not anything to eat and only plain water to drink for the last 36hours. The nurses left as I sipped on my drink drinking from ...
