2008-01-10 21:30:00 Today when I was helping my son get his bike ready to go home after school I spotted a car idling nearby. A woman, probably a mother waiting for her kid, was sitting in her comfortable car reading something, the engine humming and the headlights thrusting out in the dark. When we were set to go I passed real close to the car to show her my contempt but she didn't look up. She just kept on reading in her warm little cocoon. I tapped the rear side window as we passed. We kept on walking and after a little while when we weren't too close the door opened. The woman asked me what was wrong. Feeling a bit awkward in the sudden encounter I just blurt out that it is not too god damn good to idle. She gave me sarcastic "Is that so?" and shut the door.If the lady mentioned above had done the same thing in Vancouver she could have received a 100 dollar ticket.
