It was a beautiful sunny summer-like day and I decided to enjoy our great weather while having some lunch. It didn’t take long. A few minutes later, Dax was at the back door. He seemed to be amazed at how much more space there is outdoors. He cautiously stepped out onto the back deck taking it a few inches at a time. He eventually made it al the way to the edge of the deck. I think he’s an outdoor-cat-wanna-be. We’ll have to leave the back door open more often this season and see how accustomed the cats get to being outside. I’m sure they’ll love it. Each cat comes out at their own pace until they feel safe outside of their protective home.
