Kalou Believes Vidic Is Weakest Link, what is he on about?
2008-05-19 13:07:00 Kalou has said that United do have a weakness in defence and he thinks that the weakness is Vidic. Vidic suffered concussion during the Premier League match against Chelsea which we lost 2-1. Kalou said that Vidic has been injured so he could be the weak point, now i personally do not have a clue what he is on about. Vidic is fit for the match and i can't believe that they honestly think he will be a weakness.Vidic and Ferdinand have been outstanding this season and they have been a big reason why we have retained the Premier League. I can't see any weakness in our defence and that is what makes us strong. Here is what Kalou said: "We still believe that there is some weakness in their defence and that we can exploit that and score some goals," "They are like everyone, Ferdinand is a great defender, Vidic also."But Vidic has not played a lot because he has been injured, so that could be a weak point for them and it is up to us to play well and score a goal." Maybe he said it because...

Barca/United Injury Update
2008-04-23 11:07:00 Yesterday it looked like we were going to have a strong team to put out but there are two injury worries for today's match and they are both defensive problems.Nemanja Vidic is being treated for a stomach complaint and he didnt even train whilst Wes Brown has a injury problem but i am not quite sure what the problem is, he did train but he trained on his own.Henry looks like he will be ok to play United after coming through a high temperature, so lets hope that Vidic and Brown can recover for tonight. I will update you later if they are passed fit or not.Man United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday. ManUtd injuries update
2008-04-14 12:20:00 I have had many people asking me if Nani is injured or not, well i can tell you that he is injured.Nani currently has a Thigh Muscle Strain but he should return on the 19th April which is the same day as the Blackburn game (saturday 17:15KO).There are 3 other injuries for United:Vidic is still injured with a knee injury, he is expected to return on the 26th April which is the Chelsea match but there have been rumours that he will be fit enough to play in the away game at Blackburn on the 19th April.Fletcher is also out with a knee injury, he will be out for longer and is expected to return on the 11th May which is basically the rest of the season.Saha who is a regular to the injury list has a hamstring injury and we dont have a clue when he will return. That is all of United's current injuries that i know ofMan United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday. Vidic will be back
2008-04-03 13:03:00 Defender Vidic was substituted in the first half of the Champion's League match on tuesday night after injuring his knee. Vidic left the stadium on crutches which led to specultaion on how long he would be out for and if he would return this season.Vidic has been a massive player for United so far this season, he and Ferdinand have kept United's defence strong, so if we were to loose Vidic for the rest of the saeson that could spell disaster.Vidic's scan results are back and United have said that he will be out for 2-3 weeks, which is mixed news.Good News:The good news is that Vidic wont be out for the rest of the season, we will have him back for one of the most important parts of the season.Bad News:We probably wont have Vidic for the massive Premier League game against Arsenal which could be one of the matches that decide which team the Premier League title goes too.Matches he will miss:6th April: Premier League Middlesbrough v ManUtd9th April: Champions League ManUtd v Roma13...

How did the Red Boys do?
2008-03-27 13:00:00 There were around 32 international matches last night and here is a round up of how the Manchester United players did:Wayne Rooney, Wes Brown, Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves all started for England but they all had different matches. Rooney only played the first half as the main striker but he was given the same role as Fernando Torres is given at Liverpool and that doesnt suit him, i honestly dont think that Rooney can play upfront on his own. Brown had a night to forget, at one point it looked like David Beckham was playing at right back and Brown was playing at the right midfield. Ferdinand had a good, strong match but at the last 15/20 minutes it looked like he was carrying an injury. Hargreaves also had a good match and he also played the full 90 minutes.Former Red David Beckham played his 100th match for England, congratulations to him.Louis Saha was injured so he wasnt playing, whilst Patrice Evra was on the bench and he stayed on the bench.Anderson played in the last half...

The Old Testament :: RE: The Davidic Covenant
2007-07-30 19:00:00 Author: Eric Subject: The Davidic CovenantPosted: Mon Jul 30, 2007 1:00 pm (GMT -4) The Davidic Covenant -- Part 4 Dr. Renald Showers Introduction Our previous article presented biblical items that prompt two conclusions. First, Christ will fulfill God’s promises concerning David in the Davidic Covenant in the future. He will not sit on His throne and rule the world until He has returned to the earth in His Second Coming. Second, Christ will fulfill the Davidic Covenant by reigning over a kingdom which is political in nature. This present article will present biblical items that indicate the kingdom over which Christ will rule in the future will also be earthly in nature. The Earthly Fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant The Amillennialists who assert that Christ fulfills the Davidic Covenant now believe that He does it in His present rule over the Church or over individual human hearts yielded to Him. According to this view, the kingdom over which Christ rules in ful...

2007-07-29 13:11:00 Author: Eric Subject: The Davidic CovenantPosted: Sun Jul 29, 2007 7:11 am (GMT -4) The Davidic Covenant -- Part 3 Dr. Renald Showers Introduction In our previous article concerning the Davidic Covenant we noted that Bible scholars disagree concerning when and how God’s promises concerning David are to be fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Amillennialists claim that Christ will not reign over a literal, earthly, political kingdom on this present earth. Some Amillennialists believe that Christ fulfills the promises of the covenant now (during this present age before His Second Coming) in His present rule over the Church or human hearts as He sits at God’s right hand on the throne of God in heaven. According to this view, the kingdom over which Christ rules in fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant is solely a spiritual kingdom. It is not a literal, earthly, political kingdom. Other Amillennialists believe that Christ will fulfill these promises in eternity future after the prese...
The Old Testament :: RE: The Davidic Covenant
2007-07-28 07:55:00 Author: Eric Subject: The Davidic CovenantPosted: Sat Jul 28, 2007 1:55 am (GMT -4) The Davidic Covenant -- Part 2 Dr. Renald Showers Introduction In our previous article we noted three major promises that God made with regard to David in the Davidic Covenant. First, God promised that David’s line of descent would endure forever (2 Samuel 7:16). Second, God pledged that David’s kingdom would never pass away permanently, even though it might not function at all times (2 Sam 7:16). Third, He pledged that the ruling authority that David exercised as king would never pass away permanently, even though it might not be exercised at all times (2 Sam 7:16). We also noted that the Davidic Covenant is unconditional in nature. The fulfillment of its promises depends totally upon the faithfulness of God to His word. Nothing that David or any of his biological descendants would do could ever nullify the covenant’s guarantee that a royal descendant of David would always be available t...

2007-07-28 03:11:00 Author: Eric Subject: The Davidic CovenantPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2007 9:11 pm (GMT -4) The Davidic Covenant -- Part 1 Dr. Renald Showers The Content Of The Covenant After David had become firmly established as king over the entire nation of Israel (2 Samuel 7:1), he expressed the desire to build a permanent house of worship for God in Jerusalem (2 Samuel 7:2-3). Through Nathan the prophet God revealed that it would be Solomon, David’s son, and not David himself who would build the house of worship (2 Samuel 7:4-7, 2 Samuel 7:12-13). Although God did not allow David to build the Temple, He did establish a significant covenant with him. Because God made this covenant with David, theologians have called it the Davidic Covenant. This covenant has special significance concerning the future Kingdom of God foretold in the Bible. The content of the Davidic Covenant is recorded in 2 Samuel 7:8-16. Although this passage does not call God’s promises to David a covenant, other passages ...
Vidic And Rio Travel To Milan
2007-05-01 12:42:00 Defensive duo Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand both flew out to Milan ahead of the Reds' Champions League semi-final second leg clash on Wednesday evening at San Siro. Sir Alex has been without his first-choice defensive pairing recently, while Gaby Heinze and Wes Brown have stepped into the breach. Vidic broke his collarbone against Blackburn in the 4-1 win over Blackburn on 31 March and has been unavailable since, Ferdinand aggravated a groin injury playing for United in their recent 1-1 draw at home to Middlesbrough. However, Ferguson was optimistic enough over both players to name them in his travelling party."It is too early to say whether they will play," said Boss."They will travel and we will assess the situation after training."Heinze, Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Scholes - who famously missed the 1999 Champions League final - are one caution away from a ban, although Sir Alex will hope the trio remain fully focused on winning United to what would be only their third Europe...

Vidic And Ferdinand Will Return
2007-04-27 19:49:00 Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic in time to face AC Milan on Wednesday. Manchester United are ready to gamble with Nemanja Vidic's fitness. Vidic has not played since injuring a shoulder on March 31 but has recovered quicker than expected. The centre- back is waiting on the results of a scan on his broken collarbone to decide whether he can play for second leg in Italy."Nemanja has been training really well," Ferguson said."Nemanja has a scan on Monday and, once we get the results of that, we have a decision to make."Ferdinand is the least serious of the quartet due to a slight groin problem and he could be fit to tackle Milan but he will sit out Saturday's Premiership game at Everton."Rio won't play tomorrow, but hopefully he will be okay for Wednesday," said Ferguson.
