2008-06-07 08:09:00 AHMEDABAD: Not happy with the placement of Mahatma Gandhi's statue at Madam Tussauds, a man from Gujarat after his first visit to the famous wax museum has written to Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown to shift it from that position. V K Saxena of National Council of Civic Liberties in his letter to Brown said the statue is not placed in the wing where the statues of other illustrious world leaders are exhibited. Gandhi's statue is placed at an isolated corner on the second floor near an ice cream parlour close to the dustbin, Saxena wrote in his letter. Thousands of visitors who use this parlour throw away waste into the bin which often spills out near the statue, he said. He requested Brown to take immediate action to see that this anomaly is rectified. The Minnesota man carried a digital camera to capture the memories. For a member of the Uniformed Division of United States Secret Service, Butler captured too much. 9NEWS NOW photographer Greg Guise was rolling when an officer approached Mark Butler. Butler said the officer demanded he delete any pictures that showed the security checkpoints set up to screen fans for the visit by President George Bush. "It's kind of like not being in America," Butler said. Butler said he was not interested in the security but in the part of the stadium you could see beyond the gate.
