We have written earlier about the problems Groupon is facing and whether daily deals business model is flawed. Our suspicions are seemingly being confirmed by a survey that was done recently by ViziSense, a leading online audience and as measurement platform. The survey registered a staggering drop in the numbers of unique visitors to daily deals sites. The average drop in unique visits to the site seems to be around 50% in the between the months of September and October. Snapdeal which is the pioneer in daily deals business registered a 46% drop in unique visitors. On October 15, we reached a new record of 1,800 visitors/day for the previous week. Now on October 18, we hit a new record of 1,900 visitors/day for the previous week. That's three new records set in just one week. Could not have done it without you.Even at 1,700/day, you can't really sell many ads, and I don't see how you can make money otherwise. In general, blogging or websites in general is no way to make money, unless you are selling some kind of a product.I still can't figure out why so many people come here, but it sure is great!Muah.
