It is a stand alone expansion pack to the Crysis released in 2007. The game has been released on September 16, 2008 in North America and is available on Microsoft Windows PC only. In Europe, Crysis Warhead was released on September 12, 2008 four days before an American release. The game has been developed on CryEngine 2, the same game engine that powered Crysis video game. It is available for play in both single player and multiplayer versions. It is available on a DVD and also as digital download. You can download Crysis Warhead from Steam which is free. The NNSA requested $88 million in the fiscal 2008 Energy Department budget — up from $27 million this year — to complete detailed planning with the Navy based on a design produced in December by the nation’s two nuclear weapons laboratories.
