My Personal Waterloo
2008-07-14 10:14:00 It's going to be the quest for a good pork green chili recipe. I tried it again this past weekend, with similar results to last time: tastes pretty good, too liquidy. I'm going to figure this out if it kills me (which it probably will).The first time I ended up mixing in flour, which gave me big clumps of congealed pork fat and flour floating in the chili. Unappetizing. This time I opened the cupboard to find the flour bag full of ants. That might have given it some more consistency, but I'm not that brave an eater.Any tips, world? Anyone just surfing by and happen to have a great pork green chili recipe to share? (If it works in a crock pot or slow cooker, bonus)

University of Waterloo Team Creates Hydrogen Car
2008-05-14 00:50:00 The University of Waterloo in Toronto, Ontario, Canada has recently been in the news for making a hydrogen-powered car. The team consisted of students, they created the car as part of the final year of the Challenge X. Challenge X is a competition that lasts for three years that challenged seventeen teams to re-engineer a GMC Equinox, the most recent challenge ended in 2007. The team at the University of Waterloo is known as the Alternative fuels team. The group of students showcased their re-engineered car at Direct Energy Center at Exhibition Place in Toronto. The team was the first to create this alternative fuel car and it is all due to their cutting edge technology. The car basically runs on water and emits no fumes; in fact the end result is water. This makes the car very environmentally friendly, and by using water to power it's engine high gas prices my soon be a thing of the past. The 58-year-old driver had picked up a fare from John Street, Waterloo, about 9.30pm when he was threatened by the passenger, who was armed with a handgun. The passenger was handed a sum of cash and he ran from the scene. Police wish to speak with a man described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, aged between 35 and 40, about 183cm tall and 100kg with a solid build. The man was said to be clean shaven and bald.
