Weight Watchers

So Many Of Them
2008-05-18 11:11:00
There are so many diet pills out there that sometimes I just get overwhelmed. How do I choose which is the best one for me? How do I know which ones would work and not cause me to gain more weight the moment I stop using them? So many questions and sometimes hardly any answers. A friend recently introduced me to hoodia weight loss pills, while another one swears by another product.Sigh... I guess I will see what these pills can do for my friends first before I start taking them. After all I am doing ok in the weight watching arena so far ;)Cheerio...
Weight Watchers Store Fronts
2008-05-12 19:10:00
According to The Australian, Weight Watchers will launch two mini-shopfronts inside Australia-based Myer department stores offering 15-minute consultations to help people work on their weight loss."It's convenient," Weight Watchers Australasian managing director Joseph Saad said. "(The centres) will be very private in that we will have separate consultation areas. We will make it as easy as possible for them to leave that weigh-in and they will know clearly what they have to do (to lose weight)."I wonder how this will work? A mini weigh in and then a referral to the website program or the nearest meeting location? Some retail items such as food, cookbooks, points counters, etc.? If the consultations are free then how will the mini-stores make money?I like the idea of getting people in the store, but in practical terms will this really help if they have to go elsewhere and spend more time and money for assistance? It will be interesting to follow this and see how it goes.Tags: W...
No Need Those Diet Pill!
2008-05-10 08:58:00
I am happy to report that even with all the late nights binges of cheesecakes, chocolates and ice-cream and then Nasi Lemak for breakfast, my weight has officially remained at what it always was (yeah I went on that dreaded weighing machine this morning)! Though I am like 3kgs off the ideal weight for my height, I don't think I'll be needing that Phentermine 37.5 mg diet pill for now! Phew! What a relief!Cheerio...

Weight Watchers Demonstrator Caught Jacking Cupcakes

Apparently those Weight Watchers meals that Kirstie Alley is always hocking must not be that satisfying. Weight Watchers Cookbooks
2008-04-11 22:18:00
Weight watcher cookbooks Weight Watcher had designed an entire plan to help individuals lose weight. In their plan they have a point system that will tell you how much food you are allowed to eat in one day. You will have to choose foods in the Weight Watcher cookbooks that offer the proper comprehensive points for the day. This means you can choose a variety of options including having dessert as long as you’re providing yourself with the allowed points. You don’t want to go over the points you’re allowed to have, and you also don’t require to go under the points. If you don’t eat enough you are going to suffer from hunger, which will bring out the exhausted feelings. When you are considering purchasing a Weight Watcher cookbook to help you lose weight you will find there are several to choose from. You may eventually want to have all of the Weight Watcher cookbooks to help you find more meals a day to have. After a while most of us get fatigued of eati...
Joining Weight Watchers
2008-04-11 17:27:00
I think I realized just how frumpy I’d become when my daughter informed me that the neighbor girl had said I was a “little fat.” My lovely daughter defended my honor and told me that she had said, in no uncertain terms, that her mommy is NOT fat. Bless her heart. I was flattered that the neighbor girl just said a little. But I’m doing my best to defrump myself. My hair’s been coifed and colored for two weeks now. And while I’ve taken that first big step towards overcoming my Salonaphobia I have yet to tackle that aversion to healthy food. The one that’s made me a “little fat.” And a lot frumpy. So last night, after one Last Supper at Wendy’s, I joined Weight Watchers.Shortly after 7:30pm on Thursday night I was weighed in. I was assigned a healthy weight range. I was told about points. I was feeling thin already. When joining any weight-loss plan one should journey with a friend, preferably the one who’s always told you that you’re not fat at all. I brought mine...

Weight Watchers - The Good & Bad Points
2008-03-01 00:36:00
What is Weight Watchers and what are its benefits and consequences? The Weight Watchers system was initially started in the 60?s by Jean Nidetch as a discussion group covering the best ways to go about losing weight. Since then, the Weight Watchers name has become internationally recognized as a hallmark of dieting approaches. The Weight Watchers plan has two different programs depending on the location. The most common program is the POINTS program. This approach is characterized by one assigning points to various foods and physical activities that, in order to achieve the desired results, can?t exceed the weekly point limit. The more grams of fat, the higher the point value, the more grams of fiber, the lower the point value. The weekly point requirement is simply dictated by the client?s current weight and weight loss goals. The only acceptable reason one could eat more points than the weekly requirement is if regular exercise is to be had. By approaching dieting this way, one lea...

2008-02-27 23:27:00
Well, I'm finally so tired of not being a size 6 anymore that I am doing something about it. After having Gabrielle, the weight just didn't stay off like it did with my other kids. I guess having a baby in my 30's really changed my metabolism. Luckily I am 5'10" tall so the extra weight isn't AS obvious as it would be on someone shorter. A lot of people tell me I don't need to lose weight, but those people haven't seen me without clothes on. *grin* I am definitely carrying too much weight for my liking. I plan to be back down to at least a size 8 by the summer. Then I can fit back into the majority of my clothes. Everything I've purchased in the last year is a size 12 and that is just not cool. So, yesterday I started using the Weight Watchers Point system. I didn't join so I'm not paying for it and I'm not going to meetings or anything (because I don't need to spend money to get back in shape), but a friend at work brought me the WW book that tells how many daily point...

Jenny McCarthy Shows off Her Weight Watchers Bod at a Pre-Superbowl Party
2008-02-02 01:09:00
I'm a sucker for clever uses of animal print and I have to say that I think Jenny McCarthy is looking ab-fab here at the 'Best Damn Super Bowl Party Period." Ludacris and 50 Cent were there to perform and for a moment in one of these pictures Paris Hilton looks like she's stopping over to say hey to the half-dollar rapper. She's probably telling him very politely that despite what he may have heard, she actually has an enormous amount of respect for black people.
