2007-10-04 14:13:00 The Spice Girls and Westlife are set to battle for the number one spot on the UK album chart.The reformed Spice Girls Greatest Hits album and Back Home by Westlife are due to be released on November 5.In 2002 Westlife's album Coast To Coast topped the UK album chart and sold 234,000 copies compared to Forever by Spice Girls' which managed to shift 74,000 copies.However, it is rumoured that the Spice Girls are considering delaying their album's release until November 12 to avoid a chart battle with the Irish boyband.A Westlife insider told DS, "The boys can't wait to take their album up against the Spice Girls - they are definitely going to enjoy this and would be absolutely gutted if the girls moved?"
