2009-01-18 23:39:00 Göteborg International Biennial for Contemporary Art started in 2001 and is the largest Biennial for Contemporary Art in Sweden. Since 2007, the Biennial is hosted by Röda Sten ? Center for Contemporary Art and Culture with the main support by the City of Göteborg and Västra Götalandsregionen. The next Biennial will be held September 5 ? November 15, 2009.Under the theme What a Wonderful World, the curators Celia Prado and Johan Pousette will reflect upon the formation of politics in a visual, poetic and sensual way. Through an exhibition of high international standard, the Biennial of 2009 aspires to offer Göteborg and Sweden a possibility to participate in some of the most relevant parts of Contemporary Visual Art. The 2009 exhibition will, in addition to Röda Sten, take place at several institutions around Göteborg, where Göteborg Konsthall is one of them. 2007-07-03 14:58:00 Aku paling seneng kalo pagi-pagi mau berangkat ke kantor turun kabut. Wah rasanya seperti berada di pegunungan yang sejuk dan berudara bersih. Pohon-pohon besar yang berada di jalanan, dan di halaman belakang kantor, menambah kesan seperti berjalan melintasi arboretum (hutan buatan) di pegunungan. Seneng banget loh! Coba bayangkan aku ambil cuti panjang, terus sedang jalan kaki menyusuri jalan setapak menuju kebun anggrek di suatu tempat di dataran tinggi yang sejuk (wahhhh impian siang bolong niy!). Aku jadi scientist tamu yang sehari-hari bertanggung jawab memperbanyak anggrek dengan kultur jaringan (itu tuh teknik memperbanyak tumbuhan dengan menanam jaringan tumbuhan pada medium yang mengandung nutrien dan hormon pertumbuhan sehingga diperoleh tumbuhan baru dalam jumlah banyak dan seragam, mirip-mirip menanam bakteri pada medium produksi gituh). Tentu saja aku diajari dulu sebelum bisa melakukan sendiri. Trus aku juga diperbolehkan ambil bagian dalam beberapa proyek penyilangan...

2006-12-04 09:23:03 No es nostalgia, o si, no lo sé a ciencia cierta, lo que si estoy segur@ que dado que el mundo no está maravilloso, como cantaba Louis Armstrong..He rescatado la versión original, suya, se han realizado muchas versiones, pero ninguna comparable a este "negro de oro" en directo, con una voz rota, y con tanta sensibilidad con él. Es una parte de la Banda Sonora de la película "Good Morning Vietnam", pero intercalando a Louis, cantando..Ojalá, este mundo fuera como decía él, debe ser que la nostalgia se me contagia cada vez que lo escucho, pero es indiferente tanto en esta canción o con ˇHello Dolly! con Barbra Streisand, otro monstruo, con una voz de oro..Que lo disfrutéis, y ojalá "What A Wonderful World". ;P |
