Another Reason Why Obama Is Not Worthy Of The White House

So enforcement of US immigration laws is terrorism to Mr. Obama? Oh my. Such an audacious display of shameless pandering could be admirable, as far as practical politics go, if it didn’t betray the utter cluelessness of the man. Ed Morrissey from Hot Air asks a very pertinent question that the Obamessiah ...

Democrats May Take Back Congress AND White House
2008-06-09 19:23:00
AlterNet During the month of April, 41.7% of Americans considered themselves to be Democrats. Just 31.6% said they were Republicans and 26.6% were not affiliated with either major party. This is the third straight month Obama's team has enjoyed a double-digit edge. Forty-seven percent (47%) of women say they're Democrats and just under 30% identify with the GOP. Men are more evenly divided-36% say they're Democrats and 34% Republican. Democrats have the advantage among all age groups and also lead among those who earn less than $75,000 a year. The two parties are even among higher-income adults. Party identification is essentially even among Investors but Democrats have a 47% to 25% advantage among non-Investors. May was also the fourth straight month that the number of Democrats topped 41%. Prior to February of this year, neither party had ever reached the 39% level of support. Rasmussen Reports tracks this information based upon telephone interviews with approximately 15,...

Obama and Clinton Meet in DC; Clinton Urges Supporters to Back Obama
2008-06-06 06:49:00
Senator Barack Obama delayed his flight to Chicago on Thursday, so that he could meet privately with Senator Clinton in Washington, DC. On Wednesday, Senator Clinton met with members of the Democratic Party about what to do now that the contests have finished. Fellow Democrats urged Senator Clinton to end her pursuit of the nomination and back Obama. Clinton will make a formal speech on Saturday, in which she will announce her support for Obama and host a party for her campaign support team. Rumors abound as to how Obama and fellow Democrats will face the pressure to give Hillary Clinton the vice presidential nomination. Many supporters and even many in Washington feel that Clinton deserves to have the spot. Senator Clinton has told the public that she is interested in the number 2 spot on the ticket but has told supporters not to intervene and urge Obama to pick her. "While Senator Clinton has made clear throughout this process that she will do whatever sh...

2008-06-03 04:54:00
Maybe he just needs to be talked with? I mean, with rhetoric like this, and maybe it isn’t rhetoric, but this kind of talk just SCREAMS…let’s chat. “I must announce that the Zionist regime (Israel), with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene,” he said. “Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started.” Since taking the presidency in August 2005, Ahmadinejad has repeatedly provoked international outrage by predicting Israel is doomed to disappear. “I tell you that with the unity and awareness of all the Islamic countries all the satanic powers will soon be destroyed,” he said to a group of foreign visitors ahead of the 19th anniversary of the death of revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Ahmadinejad also again e...

Obama Fired Up and Ready to Go to the White House
2008-06-01 22:50:00
Barack Obama just gave a great speech in Mitchell, South Dakota, on the day that Hillary Clinton won handily in Puerto Rico, but the day after the Democratic National Committee finally settled the crisis of how to count the votes of Florida and Michigan, and settled this in a way which was both fair to Hillary Clinton but brought Obama to less than 50 delegates needed to clinch the nomination. It could not have been settled any other way. As I've been saying since January, before either primary, the DNC initial decision to not count any of the votes was inane and destructive. But with that decision in effect on the days of the voting, there was no way those elections could be considered fair and reflective of the popular will. In Michigan, where only Clinton's name was on the ballot, who can say or assess how many people would have voted differently had Obama's name been on the ballot, too.Whatever happens in the final two primaries in South Dakota and Montana on Tuesday, Obama...

Ever since the subprime mess started, the White House has been quite firm in its resolve to address the issue but not in the form of a bailout for mortgage lenders. There can only be one. They both have their eye on the prize, the Democratic nomination, and eventually, the White House. In a hilarious skit placing Obama?s character and Clinton?s character side by side, they say what you know they are thinking. Obama calls the backbone of the party the youth and Clinton says it is hard working white people. The clip ends with both candidates saying what we can all stand behind, Obama says that it is democracy, and Clinton says it is that she deserves this. Watch the skit below:

Hilary Clinton: Anything for the White House
2008-05-17 01:35:00
by Suzanne Baroud Nothing seems to work right for Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton in her attempts to once more dwell in the White House. Senator Barack Obama, despite inflated controversies continued his glide to the Democratic nomination with a landslide victory and a marginal defeat in the North Carolina and Indiana primaries, respectively. According to the Associated Press count, as of May 7, a day after Tuesday’s primaries, Obama commands an overall lead of 1,846.5 delegates, while Clinton trails behind at 1,696 delegates. To win the Democratic Party nomination for presidency, Obama or Clinton is required to obtain 2,025 delegates. To catch up with Obama, beleaguered Clinton must acquire at least 63 percent of the remaining votes, nearly impossible considering her poor performance as of late. Obama is just 178.5 delegates shy from the threshold of nomination. Analysts contest that neither candidate is likely to obtain the required votes, but Obama looks like a mo...
