I’ve read a good bit about it and seen some video and it looks like what transpired in Philadelphia may have been a new low-water mark in American journalism. Let’s see what people are saying. 2008-03-13 16:56:00 I was reading a post today in the Left Coaster where eriposte suggests that the Obama camp is being unfair by trying to bring up the whole Whitewater affair again. Apparently keeping with a major theme of the Clinton supporters out there, Obama is stooping to another "right wing" talking point attack line. At the end of the post, eriposte quips that the Obama supporter are so much like the GOP attack dogs that you should consider "the company they keep". One can only assume the "company" Obama is keeping in this case is the VRWC. Hmmm... I find this all to hypocritical from two different angles. First, how come it is fair for the Clinton camp to keep shoving Resko and Obama together every chance they get, but not fair for Obama to remind people that the Clintons had some serious involvement with a whole bunch of people who went to jail? 2008-01-27 15:09:00 We had a splashing day at WhiteWater World today. It took us only about 40 mins to drive from Brisbane to Gold Coast. Ling and Mike ended up purchasing a 2 year pass to both Dreamworld and also WhiteWater World since they would be here for the next 3 years. We bought a day pass to the water park.I was getting quite excited because the park was well designed and most of the rides were close to each other. From the map that was given when your ticket was purchased, you can get all the information you need to navigate the water park. They also designed it well with lots of sails and shades so that you don't fry out there on a hot day.It was rather hot today but very breezy. There were some cloudy moments which made it really cold especially when you are wet and waiting on the high steps for a ride. All of us were shivering!The queue was sometimes a pain. 2007-07-23 18:46:00 Often I like a change in pace, especially during the summer. This past weekend I was asked to join a group to go whitewater rafting up in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. There are several places to go whitewater rafting, but our group decided on Whitewater Rafting Adventures on the Lehigh River. Whitewater Rafting Adventures is a small family owned and operated outfit. Located right off of Route 93 it?s about 1 hour and half from Philadelphia. The staff and guides were very friendly and helpful and the price includes a free hot dog cookout at the end of your day (still bring a lunch). I had a fantastic time and I came back in one piece.If you decide to go keep in mind that the Whitewater Dam releases through the Lehigh River are scheduled for every other weekend beginning May 13th up to and including September 30th.
