2008-09-10 09:17:00 This week's recipe on page 85 from Baking: From my home to yours: Chocolate Whopper Malted Drops has been chosen by Rachel from Confessions of a Tangerine Tart . The task for me this week was finding the ingredients chocolate-covered malted milk balls and malted milk powder. I remember Ovomaltine from skiing in the Swiss Alpes. Thanks Judy I knew that I could use Maltesers, which were hard to find. The result was ok but not outstandig. In German I would say: It didn't taste neither like him nor her. I like the taste of Ovomaltine and I love chocolate, but in combinations it was too much of a good thing. Heng Soon Hau, who bought the fish for around RM10,000 after a bid, said he bought the grouper (known as loong pan in Cantonese or dragon grouper) for his friends in Kuala Lumpur. “My friends are in the seafood business in Kuala Lumpur and they are going to have the fish for their reunion dinner,” he said yesterday. "My third bite into the burger, it was just a foreign taste," he said. "It was a very sour, bitter sort of taste. It almost had a numbing sensation. "As I went to bite down a little harder, I felt a rubber grind in between my teeth. I saw it half in my mouth, half hanging out. It was an immediate sick-to-my-stomach type of thing." Hartless said he waited three weeks before contacting an attorney. His lawsuit, filed Nov. 16, names store owner Carrols Corp., of Syracuse, N.Y., and seeks damages for pain and suffering, emotional duress and medical expenses. Messages left with Carrols Corp. were not returned Friday. A spokeswoman for Burger King said it has referred the matter to Carrols Corp.

Fisherman Tan Eng Thiam, 45, said the incident happened about 11am yesterday when they were fishing in the Straits of Malacca coast near Sembilan island.Tan said the machine lifting the dragnet to the fishermen’s boat experienced technical difficulties due to the heavy catch.He said it was common for the machine to experience difficulties when the drag net got stuck on logs at the bottom of the sea.“However we were stunned to find what we thought were logs was actually a giant grouper fish that was still alive,” said Tan. The 2.1-metre-long fish was brought back to the beach near Hutan Melintang. This evening, when we came out of the laundry room, my wife said, "Oh, look!" I looked and coming down the walkway on the other side of the driveway was a black bear the size of a battleship. And it was coming in our direction. I didn't freak, but I came close.My wife said it was not an adult so I have to wonder what size it will be when it grows up. We managed to get upstairs and after I fumbled around trying to get the blasted key in the lock we finally got inside and I felt better.
