The Wild West: Siphoning Gas Out of Your Car's Tank
2008-05-22 14:47:00 I guess it has finally gotten to that point. People are getting desperate with the high gas prices. My neighbor's boss filled up his truck with gas yesterday, went to work, came out for lunch....and no gas. Someone had siphoned off his freshly-bought gas. I don't know how rampant this is or if this is just an isolated incident, but I just wanted to pass that on so everyone was aware of what could happen. Check your gas cap today. If it doesn't lock, get with your car's manufacturer and see if you can get it replaced with a cap that does lock. If anyone has any other tips, please do pass them on. I read an article yesterday on easy ways to save gas. You can find it here.

So are the Mavs. History seems to be repeating itself over the past few seasons.If you look at the West realistically for the Finals and top contenders, it's really no surprise at all, those are your 3 teams. Everyone says "the West is tough", "the West is better", but in all reality it may be peaking. Teams such as New Orleans, Memphis, and then Denver and Houston offer promise but no title hopes, yet.Teams such as the Nuggets and Rockets look like contenders for a bit, then falter. New Orleans has talent as does Memphis but neither is capable of taking out the top teams. You might even throw the Lakers into the equation, thanks to Kobe, but due to his off and on team spirit you have to question them too. It's nothing new for the West. Obviously, he was quite enamored...he even asked me to be his bridle...which I'll admit, did stirrup a few feelings...but I declined his proposal saying, "Sorry stud...I have no desire to harness myself to anyone (or thing) ever again...I've had enough of that horse and pony show to last a lifetime!" Unfortunately, I think he took it a bit hard.

This time more than ever, the Provos are running a determinedly presidential campaign.
