The NLG has issued a White Paper explaining why the memos, which purported to give objective legal advice, subject all those involved to prosecution under international and U.S. domestic law. Fantastic post. I wrote some post about 'black' names a couple of months ago and why I hated a lot of them and was, of course, slammed by a couple of black bloggers. The funny thing is, they refused to see the point that you make in this post - that people will make assumptions about you, about who you are, about your economic viability, about whether or not you're a trustworthy person, based on your name. Blogging really is a full-time job) AND chatting on MSN to no less than 3 bloggers simultaneously (multi tasking at it's finest) I have been toying with whether or not to do this post.   I am afraid that if my neighbour ever reads it, she will be very hurt and that is not my intention at all. I, in fact find it very difficult of late to be rude to people and therefore I tend to suffer because of it. Sometimes I just think that there really is no nice way to tell people that they are invading your space. And speaking of space, my space is huge and I need a LOT of it!
