His demagogic fit was brought on by recent violent incidents in Germany involving youths - specifically an incident in which an elderly man was attacked in the Munich subway by two youths with an immigrant background.Koch had this to say:"people who live in Germany must behave properly and refrain from using their fists. That is how one behaves in a civilized country."Koch sounds a lot like spokespersons for the Britsh National Party (BNP) in the UK, where the level of violence on the part of Muslim youth pales beside the violence perpetrated by home-grown Brits, mostly white. 2007-08-04 11:21:00 Every so often news reports from Quebec deal with examples of intolerant behavior toward minorities.In the last election in Quebec the ADQ - Action Democratique de Quebec - went from 5 seats in the legislature to 41. The party leader, Mario Dumont, helped to generate this surge in support by speaking out against the inclusiveness represented by so-called "Montreal values". Dumont publicly stated that "reasonable accommodation" of non-Christian religious customs had gone too far.
