2008-03-15 15:09:00 Josephine Constantino a.k.a Yeng is the first Grand Star Dreamer winner from ABS-CBN's popular talent reality t.v. show "Pinoy Dream Academy" (PDA) or "Fame/Star Academy" in other countries. At Age of 18, Yeng showed the filipino viewers her versatility in singing, rockista appeal and love for writing and composing her own songs. One of her very own composition "Hawak Kamay" topped most of the radio station's both in Manila and the provinces. It also won the "Best Theme Song" at the "Metro Manila Film Festival" as it was used by Star Cinema's movie soundtrack of "Kasal, Kasalo, Kasali". After Winning at PDA, Dream Big Production launched her debut album called "Salamat" with its carrier single "Salamat", the album reached gold from its 1st week and later reached 3x Platinum. Now, Yeng has a new album out called "Journey". Journey consists of twelve tracks, eight of which was written by Yeng Constantino. She said its not true.She was also asked why Irish said such statement.Yeng responded:"Hindi ko po alam,""Maaga po akong natulog noong gabing 'yon. Alam ko po nagpaplano na talaga sila ng party kasi last day na namin ?yon sa States. Kaya lang, pagod na pagod ako kaya maaga akong natulog. Maaga rin po kasi ang alis namin,"Yeng asked about the "smoking" issue:"Minsan lang po noong bata ako,""Gusto ko lang subukan. Alam naman ninyo ang kabataan, gustong ma-experience ang ganito.""Nasibak na po ako agad ng tatay ko kaya hindi ko na po ito ginawang bisyo," paliwanag niya.

2006-12-17 05:08:01 I can?t wait to blog about this. The Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Dream Night has just finished few minutes ago. It was really a huge success for ABS-CBN, especially that they have produced deserving ?dreamers? who will surely make it big in the music industry. I?ve been a fan of reality TV shows and most of the time I get disappointed with the results of voting. But this time, I was satisfied with how it turned out to be. I am not a huge fan of Yeng Constantino, the 18-year-old lass from Rizal, but I appreciate her talent. In fact, I voted for her twice because I wanted her to win. Gladly, she did!
