Get a new zeal to life with life Settlement
2008-04-29 04:51:00
We all have good days and bad days in our lives. Time and again we have seen that with age and with time, we all face various things in our lives. We all have to go through ups and downs and therefore, it is very important that we plan things accordingly in our hay days, so that while we face some kind of trouble we have proper resources to fight back the problems and live our lives accordingly. Life has many stages and therefore, we need to face stage accordingly and act accordingly to make stage of our lives comfortable. When we are young and have all the zeal in our lives, then the best thing to do is to use the zeal and the enthusiasm to make sure that we make most of our lives. A known fact is that old age brings in many problems and definitely not being able to work and earn a monthly income is the most traumatizing thing because it leaves one with a lot of insecurities. However, a life settlement can now actually help these retired senior citizens to get a new zeal in life an...

God's Own Baby-Killers: Abortions Soar Where Religious Zeal Abounds
2008-02-27 07:58:00
by Chris Floyd George Monbiot reports on a study revealing — surprise, surprise! — that countries with the most fervent religious faith have the greatest number of abortions. As Monbiot notes, this stems directly from one of the primary aims of organized religion: the control of women, especially their fertility. The zealous pursuit of this goal leads to rejection of contraception and sex education, which in turn gives rise to more unwanted pregnancies — hence more abortions. In fact, studies show that the country with perhaps the most "liberal" and "permissive" sexual policies — the Netherlands— has the lowest rate of abortion in the world. Monbiot: A study published in the Lancet shows that between 1995 and 2003, the global rate of induced abortions fell from 35 per 1,000 women each year to 29. This period coincides with the rise of the "globalised secular culture" the Pope laments. When the figures are broken down, it become...

Or that they are deserving of being copied here? This is the direction {Canadian} Prime Minister Stephen Harper would have us go.More prisons and more people in prisons has not worked for our southern neighbours, and there is no logic behind the move to increase criminal penalties for drugs. In fact, logic dictates that we move away from criminalization and focus instead on a policy that emphasizes medical intervention for those Cana...

Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.Good morning dear friends, church was wonderful last night and the preacher brought out a great message on the foolishness of preaching. The Bible declares in 1Co 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. While I will not repeat word for word what the preacher preached on, for I would rather have you hear him I may or may not repeat some of his points. Thank you preacher for studying to bring us a message that would stir our hearts an...

The Self-Righteous (Religious) Zeal of the ?Outers?
2007-09-07 06:36:00
Many of those who advocate the “outing” of closeted gay Republican staffers and elected officials justify their practice as exposing political hypocrisy. Yet, their definition of hypocrisy, depends, in large measure, on how they believe men who have sex with (or solicit sex from) other men should vote on “gay” issues. As if ...

Saturday Update #1: New Zealand Beats Canada
2007-06-16 15:52:00
Well it's saturday and we have some great rugby & soccer ahead of us today, so let's get right down to it.New Zealand-64Canada-13I watched the first half of this one and was shocked as to how well Canada played. The score at the half was 26-13 I believe and was pretty exciting. I fell asleep and missed the rest of the game but apparently the All Blacks woke up in the second half and blew Canada away. They will re-air the game later today on Setanta so I'll get a chance to watch the second half at that time. For a full match recap, click HERE.I was watching the first half of South Africa & Australia before I had to leave to go into the office for a bit. When I left the house, the score was 10-3 in favor of the Springboks. I should get home in time to watch the final 20 minutes or so of the match. So far, just as entertaining as I had hoped.UPDATE: I just checked the score and Australia is now leading at the half by a score of 16-10! Should be a great second half!!!

Update #1: New Zealand & Australia Win Easily
2007-06-09 16:28:00
Well it's 10:30 am and basically I just woke up. I stayed up last night and watched the All Blacks pound France once again, winning 61-10. After the build up this week with Henry's "controversial" comments, the All Blacks took to the pitch and destroyed the French again. All week I read articles saying how the New Zealand effort last week was sloppy and blah, blah, blah, blah, blaaaah. Did this victory finally shut up those critics? Probably not. In my world, they looked good both weeks and are clearly the favorites to win both the Tri-Nations and the World Cup. I could break down which All Blacks scored but 1.I can't remember, thats a lot of tries and 2. Does it really matter? The All Blacks play host to Canada next weekend and all I can say is, I will take a lot of pleasure in watching New Zealand put 70 on Canada. If you are from Canada, I would apologize but I won't.After that game, I went to bed. While asleep, Australia beat Fiji 49-0. I'll have to watch the replay at 11:...

New Zealand Politics for Wales - Kiwi judge calls Blair a War Criminal
2007-05-13 19:27:00
New Zealand Supreme Court judge has launched a blistering attack on outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair, effectively calling him a war criminal for his role in the Iraq conflict.Justice Ted Thomas, who retired last year but still presides over ongoing cases, told the Sunday Star-Times yesterday that Blair "deceived Cabinet, parliament and the British people" over the war. And in a hard-hitting essay published in British journal The Spokesman this month, Thomas writes: "As extreme as it sounds, it is difficult to resist the conclusion that, should he be prosecuted at a time when the plea of sovereign immunity is not available, Mr Blair would be found guilty of a war crime." Thomas said Blair would be guilty of the customary international law crime of aggression as the war was launched without legal basis. "A regime change is not the basis for conducting an invasion of another sovereign state." He said Blair misrepresented - and must have known he was misrepresenting - his atto...
