2008-04-25 07:06:00 Tonight I received an E-mail From Tom Ziglar son of Zig Ziglar. ZIG ZIGLAR is a Friend, Mentor and Inspiration in my Personal Life. So I will post the E-mail I received. Zig Ziglar Health Update – Good News! We got good news today. The surgeon saw enough improvement in Dad’s balance to recommend going ahead with the permanent shunt surgery. Dad is scheduled for the operation tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., CST. Please pray that the surgery goes smoothly, that Dad recovers quickly from the anesthesia, that there are no complications, and that Dad begins recuperation and rehab as swiftly as possible. The doctor said that improvements are likely to come gradually over time. We are so blessed to have this procedure as an option. The hospital staff has been wonderful and we are very grateful for them as well. Thank you so much for your prayers. There are thousands of people praying, and we can certainly feel your prayers! If life or business is tough, we're probably progressing in some way or learning some thing.
