Zoo York Invades China (video)
2008-01-30 05:43:00 Hands down, one of my favorite Skateboarding companies out there is Zoo York. They have some of the coolest skateboards, mixing art and new media so flawlessly, and yet they get no love on the west coast where I live.So what is one to do when there is no love for your brand?You go to china! That's right, the Zoo York team packed their bags and took themselves to the red flag waving chinese inland and ripped on virgin terrain! I wish there were spots like this in my fair city, instead of hills, bricks, and flat spots galore. The Zoo York team ripped up China, China got lucky...who said the communists can't appreciate a little western influence? Looks like Zoo York showed them what's up. Translucent in a way, simple, yet artistic in the shape, these decks feature the heart of art and culture mixed with the unbreakable city. Zoo York Steps it up
2007-10-09 15:21:00 Oh how Zoo York has my heart. Their designs, and their constant appreciation for the arts and their city has me wanting to get some more of their decks. Every time I see Zoo York decks, I'm impressed with the way they have collaborated artists into their fold to create such a unique example of art mixing with skateboarding. Artwork aside, the decks are strong and have good concave.
