David Beckham scored his first goal in a Major League Soccer game, and gave an assist to Landon Donovan gift LA Galaxy their first win against San Jose Earthquakes with a 2-0 score for their home opener on Thursday night.Beckham, who scored his season's first goal, took a perfect pass from Donovan, the team's biggest star before Beckham arrived, at the top of the box on his left in the ninth minute, then unleashed the ball from 18 yards on the right side and through the back of the net with 8:16 in the game.Beckham then fed Donovan at the same spot where he made the goal late in the first hand, with Donovan successfully connecting into an empty net after goalkeeper Joe Cannon charged forward. Hello everyone,I hope you are well.Well, the new MLS season has begun, though not in the way I?d have liked. It was very disappointing, but we?ve got a good team and we need to stay positive and move on from this, starting against San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. Congratulations to the Colorado Rapids, who deserved their win. I was especially pleased for Terry Cooke, who I played with in the youth team at Manchester United. He plays for the Rapids and has been unlucky with injuries over the years, so it?s great to see him fit and playing well.We?re confident going into the game later today. It?s the first of four games in a row at home, so we?ll be wanting to get the right result and push on from there. The Earthquakes head coach is Frank Yallop, who was our coach at the Galaxy last season, so it?ll be good to see him again. You can watch David Beckham on Jay Leno last night Part 1 and Part 2 David discussed the Armani ads saying that "I was so nervous about doing that campaign because obviously I?ve done photoshoots before but I?ve never done photoshoots in my underwear. But to do that, I was quite nervous because obviously I knew my wife and friends were going to see it. And my mom was going to see it.
