I am sure you will all agree that Victoria Beckham has never looked better on this New York trip.Yes she always looks fabulous, but there something even more special this time around, and I think it is the fact that she is smiling more recently.Here she is leaving her New York hotel yesterday looking fabulous wearing a black dress, a black cropped cardi, Louboutins and her red Hermes bag. A police escort was needed as so many fans and paparazzi were at the hotel.Looks like someone's popularity is on the rise, and all because she smiles more.I think VB is more of a New York kind of girl, than an LA girl. Hi everyone,I was delighted to be called up to the England squad for the friendlies against the USA and Trinidad & Tobago, and of course to be picked to start each game.When I handed over the captaincy after the 2006 World Cup I never thought I?d wear the armband again, so I was honoured to lead the team out onto the pitch again against Trinidad and Tobago.As for the games, I thought we played very well. We didn?t concede a goal and we won both matches, which was important. For me personally, getting an assist in the game against the USA was a great feeling. I was really pleased that John Terry put it away. He?s had a tough couple of weeks, so it was great to see the delight on his face when the ball hit the back of the net.The England lads are off on their holidays now for a well-earned rest, but I?m back with the Galaxy for our next game against Colorado Rapids in the MLS on Sunday night. David Beckham captained England who won 3-0 win against Trindad and Tobago.As usual with Becks, some have taken a cynical view that his England captaincy was a politically-motivated stunt.You see last nights game was Trindad's centenary, and FIFA vice-president Jack Warner is from Trinidad and he gets to vote for the Football Association's 2018 World Cup bid, which England are hoping to win.OK it seems suspect, but why do people look at it this way. David is still a very much a part of the England side. His assists and passion for the game and playing for his country prove that.
