Mariah Carey ?'s bomber jackets.If it was not official the first 4 times she wore a bomber jacket, it definitely is official now.The singing diva wore a white, black and red trimmed Gucci Resort 2008 bomber jacket yesterday, when her and hubby Nick Cannon arrived at LAX Airport bound for Japan.The obsession started back in February, when she arrived for a taping of MTV's TRL and has continued since then.Some of you might be thinking "If ain't broke, don't fix" and I tend to agree, to a point.There is knowing what works best for you, and there is getting stuck in a style rut. The Lanvin Spring 2008 collection stayed away from the floral trend of the season. Growing up in the UK, we did not have Prom's - although they do now - but in the US, Prom night is what every girl looks forward to, and like on the red carpet, it is ALL about the dress.Renee, a regular reader, asked me to feature her stunning gown, which would not look out of place at any red carpet event.Her dress is from Sean Collection (not Sean John).The silver white stretch mesh gown has illusion cut-out details on the front and back, with a chiffon train, which she accessorized with a sliver clutch.Renee did the right thing by modifying this gown into a strapless gown, as it makes the gown more elegant.I also love that she did not wear a necklace, as the sparkles on the dress are enough. What a fabulous fortnight of red carpet fashion the Cannes Film Festival has given us.Last night was the closing ceremony.Natalie Portman may have steered off to wear Givenchy Couture, but she is back to wearing Lanvin for the closing ceremony.The strapless gold and black gown is from the Fall 2008 collection, although it did not appear on the runway.You may remember seeing Natalie's dress recently on Sarah Jessica Parker who wore it in her Vogue US June 2008 editorial with Chris Noth.Kerry Washington wore a satin pale blue strapless Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 gown with a structured detail on the top of the skirt.Faye Dunaway another Christian Dior Spring 2008 dress. Christian Dior has unveiled its first luxury handset.The Dior phone comes with a remote, called My Dior. The My Dior is a headset that connects to the main phone wirelessly, allowing the user to make or receive calls. The remote is designed to clip onto the outside of a purse or bag, eliminating the need for a woman to rummage through her bag in order to answer a call.This phone cost $5,000/£2,5000, which is a lot of change to spend on a phone. Melissa George first wore this Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2008 shirt dress, when she attended the Salvatore Ferragamo 80th Anniversary Party at the MoCA Shanghai Exhibition Opening in China.She wore her dress with a large crocodile green clutch and a tan belt.Eva Amurri wore the same dress, when she co-hosted the "Renaissance" Art Exhibition Opening with Lake Bell, without the belt that appeared on the runway.She teamed her dress with a cream clutch.This is a very hard choice, as I LOVE Eva in this dress, but I prefer the runway belt with the dress, but I think that Eva made the right choice to not wear the runway belt....phew !After much deliberation Eva wins for me.
