Having a long chat with some family members right now, and it brings to mind the thought so many young women probably have about their parents... in particular, their mothers. Since moving into an actual house... I've become a bit nuts about centerpieces. I don't really know whats gotten into me, but the sight of a bare table has gotten under my skin in a way I never before thought it could. I'm torn on the kitchen, figured I'm blog bitch about it here. So, I wsa thinking getting a nice vase and keeping fresh flowers in it... or making a sand and seashell bowl for it. I've heard of the new travel restrictions. It basically ruined my Spring Break plans because I do not even own a passport, didn't have enough time to get one, and didn't know how to begin the process in the first place. New House for the Mouse

We are pretty much moved into the new house, and I must say it is completely bizarre. Having lived my entire life in either a home belonging to some parent or grandparent, or the teeny condo I shared with my boyfriend that was decorated in exclusively Corvette chic, I spent a good part of yesterday walking from the kitchen to the master bedroom and back. Marvelling at all the space, I'd get giddy realizing I'd forgotten the dog in the backyard (where she was more than happy to be basking in the sun and chasing bugs), and the guest bedrooms. I love it, and I love living here. :D

I am dismal at taking photos of myself. I either forget the camera, forget I have the camera, or can't find a time to take a pic that isn't beyond akward. So with my new phone, I tried taking some pics in the mirror like all the sexy girls I see on Myspace . I don't know how they do it, though. All of mine came out beyond blurry, and I even did this cute hair bump thing. I hope it stays through tonight, maybe a real cam will do the trick, because I am probably never going to be able to re-create the look and get it to stay, and I really want to show you guys.

I'll admit it, I was that dorky kid in school whose favorite field trip was to the science museum. I made model volcanoes just for fun, and experiemented with ways to elaborate on the baking soda and vinegar formula... because everyone knows that lava isn't white. I am killing time at home waiting for it to cool down a bit outside before my dog and I make the trek to my boyfriends. My car has no AC, and it just gets ridiculous in their. I could probably hack it, but I don't think m little dog could. She's sucha cute little sweetie. Gosh, I've had the worst day... good thing for puppy love. So, the manicure... it did not go well. If you can imagine a tech who literally did every step of it wrong, that was my experience. I asked to leave halfway through... and she still charged me.
