Flexi-Prim Ties and Matching Shirts

Yep, I've gone and done it this time. I've lost my SL mind. After some dreary SL emotions, I decided the island needed a new look. More modern and more fun! I have a long list of things I want to do aesthestically and technically, but finally things are almost back to normal where people can continue shopping. I'm also happy to announce ys-authentics who sells men's shoes and Minnu's wonderful ladies skins as well as the gorgeous ladies shoes by Vyre are all located on the 3rd floor of the new store. I have organized the store to have all oriental styles on the first floor, casual, business, and formal on the 2nd floor, and accessories on the 3rd floor. I really hope all my loyal and future customers love the new look. Sorry I haven't released many things this week. I guess all my creative juices got drained out of me for a couple of different reasons, one in SL and one IRL. I'll tell you about the real life part as the SL part would just cause drama.Last week was my 19th birthday (I wish I was 19 again), Racknar, my SL business partner and real life fiancee took me out for a classy and delightful dinner. After one too many Mojitos, he helped me to the car and drove me to Starbucks where I shamelessly flirted with the drive-thru lady, sucked down my chocoloate coffee, and came home where I spent most of the night and the next few days in the restroom because of food-poisoning. I'm sure the alcohol didn't help either. So, this morning I sat down at my computer and started working on different ideas. I'm very pleased to announce a new line at House of Zen called "Sundara". An indian and ancient historical word that means "beautiful" for both men and women. To kick off the new addition, I am releasing one Sherwani for men, and one Saree for women. Both are made mostly of prims. I hope you enjoy them and look forward to more "beautiful" indian styles.

Here is the latest in the House of Zen Wall Street Collection. Inspired by not only requests for turtlenecks, but also that "Casual Friday " that everyone looks forward to at the office. Included is (all modifiable) one pair of black jeans, two jackets (black and brown), and four turtleneck sweaters with prim collars (tucked and untucked). On another note, I'm sad to announce that Sasy no longer works for House of Zen. Please bear with me as I have never blogged before. Sasy took care of me and the store quite well and will be missed. I hope you all will continue to read the blog and visit the store, and please feel free to message me anytime. I welcome your thoughts and input on the blog and my creations.

Todays feature is on two of the wonderful pogodas on the island of Hinode Shima , the first is Callie Cline pogoda 29 and the second is Maitreya in pogoda 31.These wonderful Fun in the Eastern Sun dresses by Callie Cline of Pogoda 29 are just a fabulous way of mixing eastern and western cultures together for clothing , not everyone wants to wear the traditional asian styles, but many are enamored by the beautiful textures and colours of the styles.My favourite of the House of Zen Kimonos is the Pea Green so when I saw this Fun in the Eastern Sun black with subtle Pea Green acccents I was smitten .Callie Cline has also done a wonderful job of turning a dress into a frock, and yes there is a difference if your frock partial.Each dress has different prim skirts options , two of those one short and one just below the knees , these are vintage imfluenced and you can tell that not just from the overall shape of the dress but the additional features to it , like shown in this pic the prim ...

OMG! I am now Officialy excited about Halloween , In Australia we dont get to do Halloween like in the states, its never realy been something we did, and only in the last ten years or so have children chucked tanty's and declared they want it too lol.I remember a few years back getting a knock on my door and some kids from the neighbourhood where trick or treating and I was mortified, I had no candy for them so they left happy with cash lol.Here Comes Trouble (H.C.T) pogoda 6 on the island of Hinode Shima has released the most incredible costumes for this upcoming event , and I spoke to Babyboo a few times while she was making them, and her plan was to make costumes you can wear to other events other than Halloween but also that the pieces of some of them will be able to be utilised to make other stunning ensembles....there are 8 sets Im showing so make sure you look at all of them they ROCK. Recently we had Hinode Shima 's 1st Birthday Bash, and we asked if any designers that had pogodas on the island had any asian or tropical themed items that werent on the island to feature them on the day.Now Angelina Burali of Pogoda 28 went above and beyond by creating a NEW line of Jewelry and an item for the home, and the result was the Origami Peace Crane Earrings and the Decorative Peace Crane , they come in Red, Green and Blue and Angelina plans on expanding the line in the future.Now when I was young, I mean little girl young , and in primary school (kindy to year 6 down here ) our teacher taught us how to make these Origami Cranes because she read us the book about Sadako (sniffles) .If you have never read the book or heard of the story, I strongly urge you to , it still chokes me up just thinking about it, and Angelina doesnt know this but when she gave me my own pair of these earrings to wear at the Birthday it realy moved me alot....These pieces are delightful and have su...

A while back I changed how I blog, why? doesnt matter but Im returning to the way I used to post because its what I enjoyed doing , and doing it any other way made my head hurt.Its been a fabulous week since the Big Birthday Bash at Hinode Shima , had lots of IM's from people realy happy about how the day went and that is awesome....Zen released a New Suit today for the Men and WOW ! so here goes todays post featuring House of Zen and CKS Designs (pogoda 20) at Hinode Shima .This is the NEW 5O'clock set by House of Zen , and its a 19 piece set, 20 if you include the posestand lol .It has Pants, Jacket, Shirts with long sleeves and rolled up sleeves , Tucked and Untucked versions , as well as Prim Collar or regular collar and prim collar with flexy tie attached ( 6 of those ) .It is definitely a incredible range of choices and the set is based on those after hours looks of undoing that top button of your shirt and loosening your tie because work is over for the day , so now its time...
