Just a semi quick post to Thank EVERYONE that attended Sundays festivities, it was an incredible day from begining to end, we had a few hiccups like any big event but got through them without any bloodshed.The Customers were incredible, so friendly and enjoying the festivities and of course the bargains to be had , thank you so much to all the Islanders, who we treasure every day for being part of Hinode Shima , Thank You soooo much to those that donated Prizes for the event, because customers were overjoyed when I dropped Prizes on them, even if I was silly in how I went about doing so .A Huge Thank You to ALI Inc Owner Alinarae Vavoom and her incredible team of Models who put up with lag but got through it without having to fall off anything thanks to Octoberwerks Runway ( I so knew that would be a blessing ) and all the Female Models looked fabulous posing in the Maitreya poses and the Males using the Happy Dispatch ones .Thank You big time to Edward Lowell our fabulous Live Ente...

House of Zen/Hinode Shima featuring Aleri Darkes

Lots coming up this week at Hinode Shima , and last week was hell busy with lots of incredible NEW releases by House of Zen . Today I am featuring the talented Aleri Darkes in pogoda 16, who you should know from Diversity Hair, who a few months ago went a bit crazy and started making clothes too...I say crazy because it meant she made me and everyone else wait for hair, and thats just mean *grins* . I enlisted the help of Yoji one of our fabulous VIP's last night to show some suits he has bought in the past and recently, I had been holding off on showing some of them, because well it seemed kind of bizarre to me not to have Yoji model them for you , they say clothes make the man , in this case its half and half . Moons You from Hinode Shima

This is definitely another of those out of no where posts, but again its all about whats on my feet.... and when that happens, I can't be held responsible for my crazy.The other day Popfuzz Bamboo of Pogoda 32 here at Hinode Shima , TP'd in with one shoe on and one big orangey thing on the other foot.I was all shocked because I thought like Tanya she had had a fall and was in a cast in RL so needed one SL...but no thankfuly she wasnt hurt, she was just in the process of finishing off these absolutely brilliant Moon Boots .This is one of her joint efforts with Cheeto a good friend of Pop's, and Cheeto does the prim side and Pop takes care of the texture side and voila you get the stunning creations you see before you, the prim work is fabulous the flex laces and the knots are all great , and I realy love the actual Moon on the back , I think that rocks .Now this year I have been concerned how my Avatar is going to cope with another SL winter, as last year drove me to distraction, r...

House of Zen/Hinode Shima featuring Popfuzz Bamboo & Minnu Model Skins

Today I'll be featuring PopFuzz Bamboo Pogoda 32 on the Island, Popfuzz has such a broad range of wonderful items in her store that you will never be starved for choice. Also the wonderfully talented Minnu Palen of Minnu Model Skins who has a Pogoda next to Pogoda 6 on the island near the landing hub so that you can try on her demos and be in awe of her amazing skins as well as buy those fabulous Eyelashes I have spoken about in the past.The other week I think I mentioned I went House Shopping, and well I ended up with 2 , but both had one big characteristic , a touch visible/invisible movie screen, which had a large image of Keaunu in the Matrix.This of course led me to finally see the rest of the trilogy as until now I had only watched the 1st, now of course during this movie marathon I kept focusing on Trinity's hair and clothing, so when Maitreya (pogoda 31) released Rae, I knew I had to have it and put together my own Matrix look for the day, mind you the hair was created wit...

What an absolutely incredible day, it started with an offline from Beau of Maitreya, telling me to go look at the video we shot of the NEW Diva Runway animations that will be set up in Pogoda 31 today YAY ! (you can watch it in yesterdays post and OMG that song its just, incredible) .Then Fiachra of Essentia had a day off and made some NEW pieces for the Upcoming Jewelry Expo in September, and I love watching him work , mind you its painful not being able to wear things for another month , but I will survive because I am excited about all the other goodies he has planned .Then Zen blew my mind with a NEW set for House of Zen, which I am about to go into detail about , seriously I thought it was christmas ...it was just too wonderful a day in SL , and then well this is funny (to me) you know those blonde moments we all have ...I worked out two today , and one well one took 7 years , I kid you not.The first one was realising after I posted earlier about the NEW animations , that I ha...

Many of you have heard me say in the past I came to Second Life to Salsa! , that isnt a joke , it's the truth....A good friend of mine from Yahoo had shown myself and some other friends Second Life via his webcam, and I fell instantly in love with the idea of dancing in this magical place.Over a year has passed and I get to do so much more than Salsa because of the incredible Designers and Creators that make Second Life the absolute marvel that it is, the other day I was blessed to not only recieve a sneak peak at some incredible NEW animations by Maitreya Pogoda 31 , but also got to appear in a video that Beau filmed to show you exactly how incredible these NEW Diva Runway animations are , no longer will you glide along the catwalk to only stand still at the end striking a dramatic pose, which have always been so beautiful also ...but now thanks to Beau and Onyx you can SHINE .Watch it here on the House of Zen site , or click here to go to You Tube and watch this totaly beautiful ...

Ok so like Im hanging with Tesla riiiiight and she is all like shoes shoes shoes , now you only have to say shoes once to me and im all on it lol , so she tp's me to a little known shoe creator lol not realising I know allllll about this wonderful creator as I have blogged her in the past.So anyways Im like omg omg and I got the shoes that I didnt already have and fell in love, but well see they were white with colours and I wanted black and colours *giggles* to the lovely Tekilah Elytis grinned and giggled and whipped me up some black and colour and Im so stoked I had to run up to the house and take pics just so you could see how wonderful they are lol .Best thing is they also inspired an outfit of a mix of things on and off the island of Hinode Shima so that was an extra brilliant bonus wooot .This mix and matched set is just so much fun , I realy enjoyed starting at the toes and working my way up :) .On island of Hinode Shima ::House of Zen : Skirt from the Soiree SetDigit Darke...

Howdy, the weather is changing all over the world, and again its going to be odd , dieing of the heat and having my avatar run around in long coats, mittens and scarves like last year lol, I got through your summer freezing, so I am sure I will manage :o) .Today was sunny here though and sunny of course in SL so I decided to go with that idea of a nice spring day...so the two items shown are from the beautiful island of Hinode Shima and I hope you like the look of them enough to stp by and visit.Also a big shout out to Vivianne Draper the Manager of Dark Eden who was this years SLCC in world Manager , and did an incredible job setting up Mushrooms as a scavenger hunt all over the Grid as well as all the other things she had to do to make it a success , so YAY Viv !.This first set is by House of Zen, and is the Spring Fling Green set , there are four different colours in these sets, and its definitely hard to name paisley , but the lovely lime green is a beautiful feature in this pri...

lol ok I am being completely naughty today and not doing a full post , hadnt planned to anyway but was so loving my shoes today I took a pic planning on showing them when I next do.Thing is they are tooo incredible to hold off on showing you , they are the NEW Enchant Anties in Black Lacquer by Maitreya in Pogoda 31 on the Island of Hinode Shima ...and they are incredibly gorgeous , stunning lacquer scultped peek-a-boo toe stilettos , with a deep red under sole that is just heavenly , they also have the option for with or without sounds , which I completely forgot about and then spent a good five minutes walking around the store in circles because its floorboards and it was fun lol .The texture on these is incredible, so come get some as soon as you can ...you will not regret how fabulous your feet look in them :o) lmao smallest post I have ever done xoxox Sasy Scarborough xoxo House of Zen/Hinode Shima Manager
