Just released at the House of Zen is the new oriental line of flexi-ties! We are taking the step to try to relieve at least one Group slot from all of our VIP's. We have purchased the Group service with Hippo Groups, which is a website based. Slowly, we plan to move all of our VIP's over to the website group where all of the House of Zen notices will be sent through a notecard directly to you! No more annoying spam as the group is completely controlled by myself and Racknar. I wanted to let all my loyal readers know that there are a couple of other people in SL using the "House of Zen" name. There is a House of Zen Escort Service and a group called: *House Of ZEN*. (6 members). Charter: *House Of ZEN* International FashionsAnd Creations. Founder: Zen Memel. In no way are we connected with these two organizations. I find it disappointing that other people would infringe on the reputation that we have strived to build in the SL community since 2006. New "Anti-Bot" camping opportunities are available to anyone in need of some L's. Come to the House of Zen Women's Store and walk across the bridge to the Hinode Shima Estates Rec Area. Two sunbathing, three bar stools, one barman, and three video game camping items are set to pay L$3 per 15 minutes and L$2 per 10 minutes. The window washing ladders are NOT "anti-bot" and are set to pay L$2 per 20 minutes.

The House of Zen is proud to announce that there is finally enough vendors for an ALL MEN'S store and an ALL WOMEN'S store! Because of the separation, we have placed two women's prize chairs on the second and third floors of the Women's store, and 2 prize chairs for men at the all men's store. Check it out! For those of you who don't already know, the House of Zen offers lindens to you each month if you have the House of Zen in your Picks tab in your Profile. All you have to do is have the House of Zen in your Picks and click the Picks Camping Board located at the main store for your payment. Over the past few days, every single day, someone has been setting up a free account avatar and blatantly maxing out the daily payment allotment. I say blatantly because they haven't been sneaky about it, rather they have created accounts called xxx2 Fall and every number to xxx7 Falls, and the next day, the same theory with a different first name. The House of Zen is proud to offer such a generous amount of lindens for this, but we refuse to pay dishonest people. So, we have changed the board system to only pay L$100 to "Payment Info on File" residents and we have reduced the free members to L$25 so that all of you legitimate free accounts can still earn lindens.

For those of you that are familiar with the House of Zen items, you may have noticed a new "Line" called "Soiree". Soiree is what I have chosen to categorize all of the men's and women's formal styles in. With trying to become more organized, I have changed the "fat packs" in Grace and Multi-Pack of Business Dresses to single vendors. They are still available in the same colors, just separately.I accidentally figured out that if I set all the vendors to a "Pay Object", that when you left click it, you will get the "fast pay" option, and if you right click the vendor, you can use your Meta Card. I think this is much better and more efficient for those who don't have a Meta Card. If you would like more information on what this Meta Card thing is, check out http://www.firstmeta.com/main.

Hello! We have so many new things going on at Hinode Shima! The rental houses are going wonderfully! There are only 2 houses left, so if you are in the market for a beach house, contact Racknar Prevost. This ensemble comes in 6 different pieces, the shirt is in sleeved and sleeveless versions, two lengths for the skirt, and two pairs of pants in blue and tan. If you are anything like me, you LOVE the free stuff and you can't resist grabbing that "freebie" box while you are in SL shopping. From the day I started in SL and still a year later, I click those "freebie" boxes, then wonder later if I already have all that stuff somewhere deep in lost folders of my inventory. It takes time to unpack all the things in the "object" folder and by the time I remember its there, I can't find it again! I have also been trying to "outfit" new avatars in SL and throwing more freebies at them then they can handle, and not knowing if all the stuff is even of quality or not. SO, I have started a section in my main store (on the 3rd floor) of freebies that I think is well worth while or that everyone should definitely have! I guess I told a tiny lie on my last post (but not on purpse). I had planned to place a small area with a couple of stores for vendors beside the House of Zen, but due to MORE drama, I deleted all of them. My apologies go out to the ones that didn't complain, and I hope they can appreciate that I don't do drama. The airy boardwalk is still at Hinode Shima . The stores are going fast, so hurry over and get your spot reserved!Anyways....Racknar and I have developed a new residential area in it's place. The two areas are divided by water but connected with a beautiful stone bridge. The new residential area has views of the ocean, lockable doors, privacy windows, some have decks, and there is a local swimming pool to hang out at. There are many things about the area that make it very peaceful. You will just have to come by and take a look for yourself! Prices will be L$150 and L$300 per week, depending on lot size chosen. Hinode Shima Boardwalk

We are excited to announce a new boardwalk on Hinode Shima for any vendor who is looking to rent a space. Located beside the ocean and soon to be a new club called "Club Tao"!. There is a beautiful carousel as well as an outdoor bistro table and chairs for campers. It has 26 shops of various sizes, which are going fast! So hurry to Hinode Shima, (far right side of the island of House of Zen)! It has a wonderful airy feeling as you stroll down the boardwalk and enjoy the scenery. Search in the classifieds for "boardwalk shopping" and drop by!A side note....The vendor stores that are currently around the House of Zen will be going away once all leases expire. People complained about the pagodas being too far away, then they complained of the new store arrangements, so to try to please more people then not, we are discontinuing the current spaces to make room for a possible of 2 or 3 very large stores (which are already reserved).
