Princess Hat Set for Little Ones

She wanted to make sure that her children also have the same memories. Well, I think it worked! Her shop is filled with wonderful tutus and clothes. She really has some cute little pinafores, dresses and skirts.....all her own designs. All of her items are very affordable as well. It cracks me up she kicked her husband out of the garage and turned it into her sewing studio. You go girl! I was fortunate enough to review a cuddly princess hat set. These are the cutest little sets. They come in pink or blue (i.e. Prince or Princess ) with a hat, mittens and scarf. My girls LOVED that it was a crown, not a hat.....and they actually wore it instead of us having the usual "rip hats and mittens off the second we walk outside" fight. I was surprised to discover it started in the 70s. When I started my review, I realized I had already tried the Naan bread to make pizza's.....then I discovered that the company has a lot of products from breads, to entrees, and even gluten free, vegan and vegetarian selections. I tested out several items. Of course, I made my Naan Bread pizza the weekend. I love that it can be for one person, or you can make several different kinds so everyone gets what they like. It comes in a 4 pack. My husband was at a basketball game, so I made a chicken, spinach, black bean pizza for myself and the kids. Knork - the fork with style
2011-01-11 20:17:00 The creator of Knork, Mike Miller, came up with the idea eating pizza. You had me at pizza.... Seriously - he was fumbling around trying to be neat and cut his pizza with a fork and wanted something a little more substantial (and to make him look a bit more "cool"). The result was a fork and flatware line created with a beveled edge that allows the user to use a rocking motion to cut through foods. At first I was thinking this sounded a little gimmecky. However, I am a fan. Not just of the fork, but of the knife, spoon, etc. My family tested this out on chicken, beef, soup, cheese and pizza (of course!). The fork really did cut through the meat unlike a normal fork. I was impressed. But it is not sharp at all to the touch. I think the thing that most impressed us was the weighting of the flatware. Some "Me" Time with Skin Organics
2011-01-10 20:25:00 Lately I feel like I don't have time for me. Sometimes, I have a "me" breakdown. I spend so much time taking care of everyone else I need a "me" breakdown every now and then. Well, I think I may have found my version of "day at the spa" for some "me" time every day. Skin Organics sent a few items for me to try. I had tried one of their products, the Coffee Berry Balm stick - it is my summer "no makeup slap under my eyes on on my lips with a touch of mascara and go to the pool with the kids" product. So I was curious some of the other items were equally as good. Sometimes I like just a few items from a skin care line so I end up mixing and matching. Natural and shimmery mineral makeup!

Their point of difference seems to be an all day fresh look with no smudging and products that illuminate your skin. So here is my experience with the products. I tested their eyeshadow, powder foundation, super soft focus and setting spray. I LOVE the sparkle in the eye shadow - it glimmers, but is very subtle once applied. They asked for my picture prior to sending my samples....and they did a great job of "picking" eyeshadow colors for my sample - they were a perfect fit for my eyes and skin tone. I will say - be careful opening the little jars. I spilled mine a bit because I was not paying attention.....oops. Ew Yuck! It is that time of year!
2011-01-04 02:35:00 If you have kids - this is the time of year you dread. I dread it. I am not afraid of the germs, but I dread them - I know they are coming but I just don't know when. (Usually on a weekend or holiday when no Doctors are in sight!) Pretty much from December through March, someone in our house is sneezing, coughing or just plain sick. We go through a lot of tissues, and my kids just don't do a good job of wiping their own nose.....not to mention they turn into Rudolph with itchy red noses. So I tried Boogie Wipes. It is like a saline diaper wipe for your nose. My husband - who gets caught up in adult work world & forgets how kids can be is easily grossed out (and is a slight germaphobic) - LOVED the idea. Hmm, maybe there is an idea there - Dad boogie wipes. The sample I received came in unscented, grape or fresh. While the scents are nice, unscented is the only one that makes sense to me.
