This was from two weeks back I think. Joyce and Dickson held a birthday party for their baby Sam at Cafe Scrumptious (everyone should go visit the wonderful Cafe Scrumptious in Erskineville!). All the other doggie mummies and daddies also bought their babies along with them to celebrate. Since I don't have a doggie I brought my sister instead LoL.My sister loves animals and especially dogs. I on the other hand don't receive the same excited pulsations in my heart when I see animals. I mean my favorite animals are Dinosaurs (fascinating creatures they are). So I bought a stuffed toy along with me. I think I took these photos before going out last Saturday night. My daughter Joycie and my son-in-law Dickson bought me this tartan nightgown from Peter Alexander for my birthday. They thought it would complement the Nana phrase I'm going through. They were right. How I love tartan with lace. Thought I'll do a quick blog while I wait for the Men's Finals at Wimbledon to start. My money's on Federer!I really want to learn Tennis , not only because I've been watching Wimbledon and the Australian Open at the beginning of the year, but I've also started reading Prince of Tennis (the series is so damn long!). It's getting me so into Tennis! I've only played a little before for fun with my dad when I was in 2nd or 3rd Grade but I never got properly trained in it. This is perhaps one of my childhood regrets. Despite what anyone says black will always be my favorite color when I'm buying clothes. I think I wear a bit of black with every outfit.1. Gray oversized tank top, black full length leggings, long silver necklace joint together with another necklace, brown head band and black flower hair band (on wrist).2. Yesterday was the actual date of my birthday and I had a fantastic time. It were the simple things that made it so special. In the afternoon I went to have a chat and coffee with Winnie in the City, then I went to see Transformers with a few other friends (Transformers was AWESOME! I just knew it would be! I'll talk more about it later...), then I had cake with my family and ended the day watching the special features disc on the Harry Potter Goblet of Fire DVD with my sister.I guess such a relaxing laid back day made up for the stress I suffered from my party. I nearly tore my hair out at dinner because people just didn't come on time. Grrrr... I'm very tired and sleepy at the moment. It all started on Thursday evening when Ken took me out to get a manicure. One of our friends had recently started working as a nail artist and since Ken refused to have his nails done, mine were done instead. It was fun having a friend as your manicurist as you could gossip to them freely without the manicurist/customer barrier. He even outrightly told me that there is a specific pressure point on the hand that would make you horny once pressed, while he was giving me a hand massage. Okay it is time to take charge, it is time to display some self-discipline and it is time to capture and annihilate that oozing sloth that's freely circulating around my body.You may have noticed that recently, ever since the coldness had hit Sydney, the only sort of pants I've been wearing are tights. No trousers, no jeans and certainly no skinny legs. The reason behind the consistent wear of tights is because they are stretchy. Do you really think I can still fit into all those skinny legs jeans I've bought in early 2006?!I gained 8 kilograms in Japan. EIGHT KILOGRAMS! It still amazes me when I pick up four bottles of 2 litre water (however rare that may be) that that's the amount of weight I've burdened upon my poor body. If you are a person with any taste in film then stay far far away from it. The first Hostel film actually wasn't too bad. I mean the audience doesn't want to see that! The killers who bid for their kidnapped prey are crazy sadists, so why would we want to understand and relate to them?! I just want to wish Ken a very happy 20th Birthday . Since he's Japanese it means that today (well yesterday technically) was his coming of age day, when he can finally be accepted as an adult. I've been friends with him since we were 14 or 15 years old, and although we disagree and fight all the time (he likes to think that he's always right, but everyone knows that I'm the one who's ALWAYS right!!! =P), I couldn't have asked for a better friendship. This post has been long delayed. Blame it on essays.Unfortunately there isn't a Outfit photo today simply because there is no one home to help me take the photos (and yes I know a self-timer button exists). My parent's and sister have gone to the Gold Coast for a few days. I really wanted to go as well but I had class blah. I was going to make a nice long post today but my Photoshop keeps screwing up so I can't watermark my photos in case Sharon Tan decides to steal them again.I've been so busy recently, I've got 3 essays and 1 Chinese translation to hand in this week and a Japanese and Chinese test next week. Plus I've been overeating again. Life sucks at the moment.
