“King of Pop Michael Jackson has died from suspected cardiac arrest,� the DJ said. I couldn’t believe this, really I couldn’t. When I heard the news today that Golden Angel, Farrah Fawcett died after a long battle with cancer I was saddened and yes I believed the DJ that she had died. I mean this beloved actress, aged 62, had battled cancer for two-and-a-half years and this had been in the news and tabloid media since at least October 2006. Speculation that Fawcett's death was close at hand further mounted after veteran television interviewer Barbara Walters said the actress had been given her last rites. So yes her death was expected and once again I believed it when I first heard it.
