BBC on Japanese Fashion

BBC did a documentary on Japanese fashion - just to make people aware of their unique sense of style. I've always been fascinated on how they're able to make clothes look good together. Different pieces that you normally wouldn't ever dream of putting on together make a really cute outfit when they're wearing them. Louis Vuitton's Epi Collection features two new colors: Cassis and Grenade.Aren't they both pretty? I really don't like LV's patent leather design. It's so dull and IMO, ugly. The Cassis and Grenade colors make me want to go and buy myself one of these bags and clutches though. Even the belt, wallet and scarf are all so pretty too!Thoughts on LV's Epi Collection's new colors?

Kimono ga kirei na...These are Jotaro Saito's Fall 2008 collection, featured during the first day of the Tokyo Fashion Week. I like the prints of the clothes, especially the one that the girl in the fifth picture is wearing. I'd definitely get myself one of these! Source

I only listed the top 20 worst looks since 100 is too much to post.Anyway, fashion, I believe, is subjective. So if you think that one of these outfits isn't worthy of being called hideous... The colors are great, but IMO, I think they're a tad girly - the styles, I mean. I guess some men wouldn't mind being dressed in these, but personally, I wouldn't want my guy to wear anything that comes close to these styles!

Benjamin Cho's fall 2008 RTW collection is another one of those lines of clothes that will make next season a lot more colorful. The clothes aren't all colorful as there are a few black ones there but the clothes that do have color... they really are colorful. I like most of his designs, especially the one in the sixth picture.

John Galliano presents his fall 2008 RTW line which, IMO, definitely suits Halloween. I mean, I wouldn't really be caught dead wearing this casually for a day at the mall, right?...Or would you?

I recently posted the fall '08 trends for New York city which is probably applicable to New Yorkers alone. Buuuut...to the people outside NYC, Apparelnews posted a trend forecast for Fall 2008. These trends were determined in recent shows including the Project Global Trade Show, Action Sports Retailer Trade Expo and the MAGIC Marketplace.You'll probably recognize some of the trends you'll see in this entry (if you read the NY fall trends entry) so don't worry or fuss about it okay? Lol. So yeah, here are the Fall 2008 trends - which all are wittingly named again!1. Bomb Squad - jackets are in this season: motorcycle and bomber styles are hot!2. I guess everyone wants to jazz up their bags in one way or another....so here's one way of doing just that! Coach Japan released these new keyrings that will definitely, definitely add more life to an otherwise dull bag. I am so in love with the star keyring! Too bad it costs a whole lot; I would love to get all of them :)

Darker Shades of Fall

Despite the numerous bursts of bright colors for this coming fall, Stella McCartney's 2008 RTW collection seem to focus on darker and more earthly tones as her clothes and accessories range from the colors gray, brown and black. The single blue dress looks lost amidst a sea of the colors I just mentioned, but it's cute. I like that lone blue dress. Here are some of the accessories that goes with the collection. Personally, I think the shoes are hard to walk on!
