Microsoft officially announced the Xbox 360 Elite today. The Elite will add a HDMI port and a 120gb HD but that is about it. HDMI is a pretty nice upgrade which will allow you to watch the best 1080p video but every Xbox should have it. Compare the $479 Elite to the $499 PS3 (which has Blu-Ray) and the Elite doesn't seem all that great. Sure, it is would be a nice system for those who love Halo but other than that you might as well go with a PS3. Another thing is that once the limited release of Xbox Elite systems get sold out then the Xbox Premium will be sold with 120gb/HDMI.
