Twelve new designs have been launched from Gama-Go this week, six for men and six for the gals, and they all look super. My two most favorite ones are the designs of Deathbot, one with rose and another as Shiva. They both look so funny and cute and the idea of a robot skull is just fantastic!!! I'm cracking up...

Madhouse Tees

I've found Madhouse Tees a couple of months ago but I didn't have the chance to write about them with all the vacations and stuff. Madhouse Tees is a t-shirt company founded by Jared Aronson a couple of years ago. The t-shirts are quite original, cute, smart, and humorous. The creator behind these tees is Jared Aronson, a brilliant self-taught artist who has been diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy, and is now confined to a wheel chair on a ventilator 24/7. Jared's drawings are exclusively accomplished with a track ball mouse on his laptop computer something that makes them even more special and unique. His designs have a very funny and humorous point of view offering a fresh alternative to offensive cheap humor t-shirts that are very popular these days. I vote Madhouse Tees with all my heart!

I'm not a skateboarder but I understand it should be hard when your board breaks and "dies". Your board is your companion during the long hours of skateboarding, your tool, and your entertainment and I guess is hard to let go. That's why Michael and Anthony, two high school juniors and skateboarders, had this amazing idea; instead of just throwing away the dead boards they used them to make some excellent t-shirt designs. I see these t-shirts as a new and fresh proposal for the skateboarding fashion that combines the love for skateboarding with a very interesting aesthetic approach. You'll find those t-shirts at decktrash.com for 20 bucks each.*I haven't really seen any of these tees at close so I have a reserve regarding the printing quality.

Bonaroo State Department of Fashion Corrections

Bonaroo is one of these shops that always wanted to write about, but never managed to... So I guess today is the day! What does Bonaroo mean really? According to the shop owners (who I trust) "the exact definition quite simply means - your best or new clothes as a prisoner, garments that you would keep in a parcel or a box in your cell, so they don't get stained, burned or used as a noose." Does this mean that the t-shirts they sell must be kept in a secure place where no one and nothing could touch them? Does it mean that these damn shirts are so special that you will wear them only in a few special occasions? Well, that's up to you to decide... OK, apart of all that Bonaroo is a relatively new place to find a bunch of smart, funny, and ironic t-shirts. I know that some of you might not like this kind of t-shirts and honestly I'm not so sure if I'd wear some of Bonaroo's t-shirts too, but check out my personal favorite from this shop, the "Get Help! I've Been Kidnapped" shirt...

Four new t-shirts have been launched this week by Naive Cloth ing , all quite impressive, I may say. I couldn't really choose my favorite one since they all look so fantastic and unique! But if I am to buy something, that would be probably "Storms" a typical Naive poetic and sensitive design. Also, since you'll be there, check out some of the older stuff that now go for much less, and don't forget to read the very interesting and so well written descriptions.

I'm always happy to check out the new Oddica designs and this time I have one extra reason. That's because, one of Oddica's new designs is created by one of my most favorite artists ever, Julie Hill! Her new design is called "Phonebirds" and is just amazing! She must have a thing with birds, actually, since this is her third design I can recall featuring birds. The other two are "Above it All" and "Tape Bird", which is in the same spirit with "Phonebirds". Paper Root T-shirts

I just love it when a new t-shirt shop comes out and looks as promising as Paper Root ! This place is so new (just a couple of weeks..!) and I can already see some classics. A bunch of interesting artists gathered all together with the vision to expose their art through t-shirts (which you know is my thing), make an artistic statement, and eventually make a difference in this area. I haven't gotten any shirt yet, since I'm away, but according to their website "each piece is hand silk-screened at the time of purchase, with water based inks (the softest and most environment-friendly), and on clothing only made in our very own U. S. of A." The designs look super with large prints and very unique and personal style. Finally, I find their prices pretty reasonable ranging from $20 to $22. I'm pretty impressed with these folks and can't wait to see their new designs...The only downside? I had some difficulties loading some pages and generally navigate through the site:( but I guess this...
