So! In a few hours I'm gonna be flying overseas for my long awaited vacations! For the next couple of months I'll be all around Greece visiting friends and family so expect posting to be slow... :( I'll try to do my best, but being away from my internet connection (and Greece is not exactly the Internet Paradise) it's going to be hard. Scenery Apparel

Scenery Appa rel is one of my latest discoveries (I don't know if someone else knew about this place but I didn't), and is one of these places that just make you feel calm and relaxed while shopping. Maybe is the scenery, I don't know... (OK, that was a joke!?) But seriously, it's a clean cut, appealing site and the designs are in the same spirit. The folks over there seem to be quite active too, donating part of their profit to several organizations (like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Overall I liked most of the t-shirts at Scenery but the one design who really did for me is Gizelle, an incredibly beautiful dark green print on this creme American Apparel shirt...wow...I want that!

New Teetsy Shirts

Three new t-shirts were released by Teetsy recently, all so nice and interesting with this distinctive Teetsy drawing quality, but let me just say that "While you Where out" is like one of the most amazing, funny, surreal designs ever! What a concept! And the description: "My gnome? I thought it was your gnome? Why's my breath smell like ass?" I'm cracking up... OMG, that tee just made my day. Thank you Teetsy, thank you! Btw, while you're there you might wanna check out some of the other amazing t-shirts as well, like the "Gravediggers' Picnic" or the "Dad's Day" and so many others. Honestly, Teetsy has some of the most unique designs around and for quite reasonable prices (~$18).

Nuda Tees!

Nuda Tees is another awesome t-shirt site I came across lately and I really really liked it! It's a new hip place that offers the opportunity for people to submit their own designs and if printed get a commission. Although it's a new site, they already have a bunch of cool designs, like the "pPod" or the "Smonkey", which are my favorite ones. You can also check out each artist's profile, where you'll find links to their personal websites along with some really funny bios, like the one of Razorface, who grew up in a circus where "he revolutionized the industry when he combined the art of sword swallowing with tiger taming"! Another cool feature in Nuda Tees site is the commenting option next to every t-shirt where you can add your own comment about the design. (I'm not saying that I haven't seen that elsewhere but is still a cool feature) The prices are super ($15) and they print on Gildan t-shirts for guys and on Anvil t-shirts for the gals.

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a posting about some vintage tees from PalmerCash. Thanks to t-shirt expert Joe, from Fantastic Blognanza, and his comment I found the source of these amazing t-shirts and in the same time discovered tons of new incredible tees! I'm talking about Heavy Tees , a shop that follows the footsteps of the 60's clothing artist Vernon Holoubek. Each design narrates a story at Heavy Tees something that gives these t-shirts a unique, edgy, and different artistic value. Once again I had a hard time choosing my favorite design, so I'll probably get out of it with a small selection of them...

StarCore Clothing is an "one man show"...well no, I would rather say it's an "one woman show"! I'm talking about Melissa, the person behind this amazing kick ass clothing line! I loved these power designs from the moment I first visited the store; esoteric, sensitive and at the same time hard rocking, dynamic pieces... The prices of the t-shirts range from $11-25, which I believe is quite fair not to say cheap. My favorite t-shirt from StarCore Clothing is the "Bird" because there's some poetic quality about it. I'm so excited to find out that Mart in Hsu has launched three new designs. Truth is that they're out there two months now, but I just found out...So anyway, I was very impressed with this specific one, Urban Clean sing, featuring a Hinduism Deity (if I'm not wrong) wearing a gas mask! I think the design is great and I loved that silver American Apparel shirt. Is it just me or is there anyone else in this freaking world that is annoyed by all this noise about Sanjay a ? Who the hell is he anyway? He is just a (gay?) guy (not the prettiest according to my taste) from American Idol! I'm so pissed off with all this situation... whatever site I visit he is in, and now this! Busted Tees has presented a new t-shirt called "Goodbye-a Sanjaya", which according to Busted Tees Simon called it "Absolutely dreadful. Just... terrible. Honestly. I'm being honest. That was awful". Like I care about Simon...@&%#$!@!What infuriates me is that now I'm just another damn Sanjaya site...I'm afraid I'm loosing it...I should better get some rest...

Well, it looks like the last few months the "toast" theme becomes more and more popular on t-shirts. The reason is obvious, I believe, they are simply cute and funny and therefore many shops seam to have their own version. So, the question is, why another damn "toast" t-shirt? Turns out you can find some really cool stores at MySpace after all... I'm talking about As[one], a relatively new store currently based in Wisconsin. The Premiere Edition mens t-shirts are designed by Jeremy and the womens t-shirts by another very talented design student. What I appreciated in As[one], besides the quality of the designs of course, is the noble cause of Jeremy to support as much as he can the artists and the free spirits of the world. Thus As[one] supports young athletes and artists and gives a stage to the "lesser known". In addition, 5% of the proceeds is going to benefit the humanitarian aid organization SurfAid International. I like that!!! Oh, and one more thing: there's an attractive spring sale going on these days where all the Premiere Edition t-shirts cost $16. What about that, ha?Blackout Tee $16.00

A few days ago, I came across this really kick-ass store, Hero ine Cloth ing , and I loved it. Their edgy and hard rocking designs are inspired by the tattoo world and are absolutely awesome! According to Michel who is the store's representative "we are driven by what we are surrounded by art, music and life", and looking into some of their stuff I cannot disagree at all. The prices are quite reasonable and you can also find a respectable amount of cool jewelery and accessories. The creator of Catch 23, Philip Rowntree, is a legendary street vendor on Berkeley's infamous Telegraph Avenue for more than 13 years! The Baaahhh Store!

The Baaahhh Stor e is maybe one of the cutest and funniest CafePress stores I ever seen. It's a relatively small store made by Stefano Genovese and Maria Riboli, and its cause is to support a theatrical project that will open in NYC this summer/fall. As far as I understand the concept of the story is based on a Catch-22 type of joke where someone receives a letter telling him that he has to pay taxes on a sheep he doesn't own and there's no way to prove otherwise. So the question is: What would you do if you were in his place?

Recently I stumbled upon an interesting shop in the internet, the Android 8 or just A8, which sells t-shirts, art figures, prints, and a bunch of other cool stuff. A8 begun by the vision of Glen Liberman who shaped it according to his inspirations and passions. The result is this futuristic and selective art shop.
