Monogram Miroir Lockit in SilverMonogram Miroir in GoldYes, yes, the Monogram Miroir Collection that we saw from Louis Vuitton Last Fall /Winter '06 is back! Err, much to my dismay, this Fall '07, the 'Lockit' now joins the 'Speedy' and the 'Alma' of Last Fall's Miroir Collection. I've never been a fan of the Miroir Collection. It's just too loud too 'bling-y', too plasticky and 'vinyl-y' and too 'in your face'. But the celebs and A-Listers seem to fancy it and some of us commonfolk too... Ah well, one man's meat is another man's poison. I guess the only consolation is that the 'Lockit' in Monogram Miroir is much better looking than the Speedy and the Alma. For those of you who like the Miroir then feast your eyes. It retails for $1100 Euros

Yes, naturally, being a total Fendi holic, I just had to feature this. From the Fall/Winter 2007 Collection, this Fendi 'Fore ver Sequin ed Borsa' is in its signature Zucchiino-print fabric (small 'FF' logo) accented with clear sequins allover. I love the multicoloured metallic Orange/Pink/Blue/Gold calfskin leather trims, but I know I'd certainly prefer it if the bag came without the sequins. We all know that Nancy Gonzalez specialises in Croc and Alligator bags. But, I haven't seen a Ruched Alligator or Croc Tote, because as I can imagine, it must be pretty tough to achieve the Ruched look for such a tough exotic skin. And because of that, this, the Ruched Crocodile Satchel by Nancy Gonzalez get's picked as this week's Splurge of the Week ! Very rarely do I favour Nancy Gonzalez's bags, because they look too structured for my liking, but this one looks so feminine and classy! Well, well, well...I've been browsing for bags as usual, for this is what I do, and this is what this blog is about...and I noticed a particular trend in this season's bags. For some reason or other, the Spring/Summer Collections this year are laden with Logo Totes in Canvas ..and when I say logo totes, I mean that the logo is of a very noticeable and obvious size, stamped smack in the middle of the Tote, on display for all and sundry for the whole world to see. Well, I call this the kiasueffect. Perhaps it's a race amongst the designers to see who has the biggest logo stamped on the front? Anya Hindmarch 'Marlie' Bag

I must say that the general look and design of Anya Hindmarch 's bags have evolved tremendously. Previously, one could more or less identify an Anya Hindmarch piece by looking at it, but this one had me baffled. When I saw this, I initially thought that it was a Gucci piece, due to the chain link gold bits in the middle of the bag, as Gucci had a few bags in a similar design and style, from the embossed leather GG monogram collection. Much to my surprise, it was actually an Anya Hindmarch piece. Made of White leather with chunky gold chain detailing and lined in suede, this somewhat Bowler-ish shaped 'Marlie' Tote from Anya Hindmarch's 'Day Bags' Collection retails for £510.64 via Net-a-Porter. This Week 's Splurge of the Week is the Embroidered Spy Bag by Fendi. Initially released as a Limited Edition 'Spy' Bag in 2005, the wait list for the bag in London was more than 2 pages long when it was first released...which is why I was very surprised when I saw that it is still on sale. So if you wanna get your hands on this supposed Limited Edition embroidered 'Spy' with beaded accents and embossed leather handles, it's available via Saks . No big loss for those of you who got on the waitlist for this embroidered 'Spy' when it was first released though, as it still retails for the same price - a whopping $6,040!

I know that this bag has been around since the beginning of 2007. Like Vale nti no 's signature showstopper and showcloser for all their couture runway shows (Yes, I'm speaking about the signature Red Dress), the first time this handbag was released, it was in (yup, you guessed it!) Red as well! I kinda liked this bag in Red, but it was a tad too loud for me. Everytime I see this bag, I look at it because I really like the design (I've never been a fan of multipockets but I guess this one is an exception), but decide otherwise because well, it's too Red Hot for me. BUT when I laid my eyes upon the same bag, but in Pastel Pink, I was smitten! Unlike the Red which gives off a very fierce, almost urban femme fatale sorta bag, the one in pink is sooo sweet and innocent, it's the ultimate girlie bag for the urban girlie girl.
