If you haven't visited the Dior flagship stores of late, let me introduce you the new Jazzclub collection from their Spring/Summer collection that's simply to die for.A collection that ties together with an engraved metal loop and toggle on every handbag, pouch and wallet, the items come in black and white leather and animal prints.I would personally recommend the zebra print and the white leather handbag with chain straps although I must say, it can be difficult to maintain the white leather. This season, Miuccia Prada has got the entire Switzerland working on couture lace. This handmade fabric has taken over almost the entire Fall/Winter 2008 collection simply because Miuccia wanted "something simple", she says.. although I think it's FAR from simple. She continued by saying "the surface is important. I wanted to do minimal, something that was feminine and strong - but in the end, not so sexy." The collection resembles the early nineties Prada and I'm sure must've been a hit among their clients. You'll also notice that the bags have been implanted with strange upstanding frills. They appear throughout the entire collection on the lace pieces as well as the leather ones. This Fall/Winter, you'll notice a similarity of colors for lots of brand names - and this includes Oscar de la Renta as well. Shades of brown, blue and black are in this coming season. Crocs remain as a fashion statement as well. On Oscar de la Renta, you'll see them on shoulder bags, totes as well as clutches. Metallics still remain, however, they are now of a smaller scale. Last year's mix and match patent and leather and colorful patterns in their Fall/Winter collection are out.. replacing it with plain, one colored pieces with leather handles rather than the previous gold chain straps. As always, we never fail to include Hermes as part of the Fashion Week spread. I'm sure you're all eager to find out what Hermes has come out with for Fall/Winter. Well, let's not wait anymore. Let's get right into it..First up, the famous Birkin..This season, they're using earthly tones on their Birkin.. keeping it toned down.. Then, there's the Kelly pochette in croc.. Then there's the Kelly.. reinvented into a messenger bag.. Rather impressive stuff.. Definitely loving the white one.. And other messenger bags - also in absolutely dark colors.. Really dull..And then, there's the brighter patterned pieces that's sure to brighten up your days.. Seen in Milan this coming season is Gucci 's Fall/Winter collection with a different twist. We're seeing a more 'rock chick' look this coming season - as Style.com puts it - Friday Giannini is 'staging a raid on the Russian/Cossack/folklore department of the hippie wardrobe-the kind of printy, shaggy, peasanty things London groupies picked up at Portobello market in the early seventies, but scrubbed up to match today's luxury values, of course.' Definitely nowhere near what they used to make.Take for example the new "Babushka" carpet bags, they're definitely exceptional pieces - not forgetting the detailed handwork in the flying leather fringes on the hobo shoulder bags.. And the signature monogram coated canvas which is a hit right now. On Bottega this coming season, we see a variety of stuff from their collection. As you can see, their signature woven pieces still remain.. the first piece being brighter than ever.. a patchwork woven tote that's really has just too much work on it.. the green and black one looking like what we can find in our craft stores at 'Central Market' in Malaysia. I think the best among the woven pieces would have to be the woven clutch. It looks elegant yet not too over the top. They've also got the same clutch quilted in patent.. yes, I think it's patent and a bright red quilted clutch that's a bit rough looking..Then there's the more luxurious pieces in exotic leather.. the first being an envelope clutch followed by a beautiful ostrich bag with buckles fastened on the sides..And a show of more framed bags.. The matte crocodile bag with a fold-over frame top looking extremely stunning.. And to top it off, there's a colorful beaded clutch that must've taken ages to put together but...

The brand introduces its new line for their Fall/Winter collection with cool colors like blue, green, yellow combined with icicle patterns.Nevertheless, you'll never miss a Pucci because the colorful prints still remain as part of the collection. Introducing the new Christian Dior Fall/Winter collection..This coming season, we go back in time to the 60's when beehive hairdos were popular and skinny jeans were introduced. Style.com recognised the collection as the "Kennedy-era America" collection - one that's 'amped up with bright color[s] [and] lashings of paillette embroidery. Also noticeable are geometric prints from the mid-century. Take a look at it for yourself..Overall, I'd say this collection is made up of solid colors. John Galliano has played around with materials and created a collection of bag that mostly uses metal handles (which can be quite heavy to carry around) with very simple designs. Not forgetting the signature D that appears in all the bags - customising one part of it to match the color of the bag itself. Presenting: Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter Collection 2008This Fall/Winter, the Marc by MJ Collection seems to be inspired by the Eighties and the Punk-Rock vibe. This season, we see very bold colours and an array of bags which are functionalist in terms of its design. This Fall/Winter, the Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag collection was also influenced by graffiti, as we see plenty of that this season.Oversized bags also seems to be the trend for MJ this season, thus displaying the functionalist approach to design. Multi-pockets also seem to be a key theme that runs through the bags. So quickly has the year come and gone and here we are again posting about something from the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter collection. I must say.. I'm terrible disappointed in their collection this time round (as with the past year). I've been searching page after page of detailed shots to give you the best pieces from the collection but am sad to say, there were none.Nevertheless, I'll show you a few shots so you'll understand why I'm so disappointed. A metallic piece in an unknown shape that I honestly think looks cheap.This one looks sooo wrong!!! And this one.. I've got no words for this.See what I mean, people? Although so, I must say I've been wrong about this before. There are some pieces which CAN look pretty when you see the real thing.
