'Web Downloader' freeware update - 1.0.7.9

'Web Downloader' was also updated to version 1.0.7.9.The command line - when being called from a IE browser - was not working correctly when a 'non valid' file or link was being added. It has been corrected - at least I hope it was - but it is also depending on user's OS and browser so it's not so easy to test fully, unfortunately. Just hope more users send feedback - like our old time user Bert van Velsen did - to help us debug this thing! So, thank you Bert.Also, a few more options were added to preferences, like the 'Exit on downloads finished' and 'overwrite existing files'. This later one is for times when you have to download a file repeatedly and want to replace it without renaming, but must be used very carefully as it will effectively overwrite any file with same filename already on your disk!! This was, nevertheless, a fine suggestion from Helge Philipp that needs this for server use.And - you guessed it - this new version is also available for download from our...

'File renamer' freeware update - 1.1.8.3

'File renamer' freeware has been updated to version 1.1.8.3.A few things were improved, and the 'change file extension' has been updated so that it will now respect the upper / lower case the user wants to use - it was causing trouble when, for instance, you wanted to upload files to a Linux server and the case was wrong The 'add file date / time to ... of filename' has also been changed, replacing the brackets chars to underscore ones, for the same reason.New version of 'File Rename r' is now available from the freeware page.

FREEwareAnd here are a few more updates, to the freeware:'File renamer' up to version 1.1.8.1 with a few improvements, like saving spaces in renaming strings between uses. Previously it was striping all spaces - all people that noticed this know what I mean... of course, thanks are in order - again - to our good user Klaus for all his help with debuging and suggestions troughout all the years.'Wav player', up to version 1.1.1.4, with a few corrections to the command line - if files were inside the same folder and no path was defined, or if the file didn't exist, it would show an internal error and hang! Thanks to Michael Marquart for noticing this.'Watch', up to version 1.1.3.5, with a few changes to it's source. 'Stock Control' software - distribution license

Our Industrial production and stocks control software has had it's distribution license changed from 'commercial' software to 'donation-ware'.This has in no way reduced it's quality and continuous active development, just means you can get the full version for a significative reduced cost.This has turned it into free software, really, although we request a small donation be made in order for us to send you a license for the full version. And 'ToDo Remi nder ' freeware has been updated to version 1.1.2.1.There is a new top menu item to select categories (if you have created any), and categories have been improved a little.You can also now hide the top menu and/or the toolbar if you want to gain a little more space - just check the new options at preferences. 'But how do I get them on again, if I hide both ?' - I can ear you all asking... Well, when you hide both, a new item is added to the 'right-click' menu that leads you to preference's screen again This new version is available for downloaded from the freeware page, here

'File renamer' freeware has been updated to version 1.1.7.10.Most changes made were related to ease of use, like on clicking the 'up-down' spin buttons the connected option being selected and on selecting options the related input box (on top of the software) also being selected automatically.A small change to option 'Auto-create' file names...' was also made, allowing you to have either (but not both) prefix or suffix as blank.Download 'File Rename r' and a few other freeware utilities from our freeware page.
