Albums publication status drop
2009-09-10 12:51:00 Due to an error in an SQL query that was run during the latest update of user accounts of the WebAsyst Photos online service, the status of all albums that were marked as “Published” was mistakenly set to “Published privately”. It means that such albums are no longer available in the publicly accessible photo gallery. The problem has affected only the users of the WebAsyst Photos online service. If you have PHP scripts of the WebAsyst Photos application installed on your server, the statuses of your albums have not been changed. We sincerely apologize for this mistake. All other user data (photos and albums) have not been affected, it is only the publication status of albums that has been changed. If you are using WebAsyst Photos as a hosted service, please log in and set correct statuses for your albums. Shop-Script PRO and PREMIUM products are discontinued

It means that Shop-Script PRO and PREMIUM are no longer available for download, and will not be updated anymore (even in case new bugs and/or security vulnerabilities are found). However, we continue offering technical support by email on questions concerning functioning and problems with Shop-Script PRO and PREMIUM. We will be offering support while we continue to receive requests concerning PRO and PREMIUM versions. About paid updates
2009-07-15 16:36:00 One year ago we introduced new software update policy which assumed paid access to WebAsyst software updates: 25% of the original purchase price for 1 extra year of updates (after the first year passes). According to this change updates were about to become paid for many of WebAsyst and Shop-Script users on September 1st, 2009. However, we have several critical arguments against this paid update policy, and that is why we decided to suspend switching to paid updates for now. 2008-12-17 13:54:00 Today, December 17th, 2008, from 6:05 until 7:53 GMT, WebAsyst servers were unavailable due to technical problems at the data center where they are physically located (Montreal, Canada). As a result www.webasyst.net and all user accounts on it were unaccessible. Our network administrators did their best to restore servers functionality. Not everything was in their power, however. We required assistance and cooperation of the data center technicians. That is why downtime was so lengthy. At 7:53 GMT WebAsyst servers came back online. None of the users information and data has been lost. At the moment everything is back to normal. We greatly apologize to all of the WebAsyst users that have been affected by the service unavailability.
