Create a hidden watermark in images

Many websites don't want their images to be copied. The little "right-click-javascript-block" doesn't help a lot, since everybody knows how to use the "print screen" button. There is only one way to keep images yours: Adding a watermark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watermark ) to it. To protect their images, they add a line over te image with the name or ULR of the website. Advanced Photoshop users will know how to work their way around this watermark. Cool light show on water using LEDs

A LED (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light -emitt ing_diode) light is used a lot these days. Although you see them everywhere, I think you didn't see them under these sircomstances. Designer Seung-Jin Lee has created a LED artwork that is floating just above the water. The LEDs are embedded within tubes, allowing it to be water resistant. A computer has control over the LEDs. This way, you can define different patterns in different colors with light.

Hiding email addresses from spambots using CSS

Nobody likes to receive spam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam). There are several ways to avoid your email address (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email ) found by a spambot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spambot). For example you could use HTML character entities, Javascript, CAPTCHA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA) etc. It just makes the address readable for humans and not for spambots. Some of those techniques work better then others, but here's a new way of hiding your mail address. Simply by using CSS (http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/) Too bad that there's just one big catch when using this technique: It doesn't work on Internet Explorer (IE) (http://www.microsoft.com/ie/) (yet). Making comments in your source code

Commenting is absolutely necessary when programming. It's useful to you because you won't forget what you were doing or thinking at that time. But it's expecially useful for others because they'll know how to work with your code. Every programming language has it's own way of making comments, which can be very annoying. Never had that you were making Java comments on your HTML page? Here's a small list of some programming languages with their way of commenting. Alltough CSS, HTML and MySQL aren't real programming languages, I posted them in this list because it can be useful for webdesigners.
