Smart & PLDT DSL Down for the Whole Day

Today, I've tried to access the internet via the PLDT DSL connection of our school and there's no connection. I thought it's just temporary so I checked it by afternoon and its the same. That's the time when I call 171 and an automatic answer responses to my call telling me that they have a connection problem. So no connection for the whole day, I don't know if PLDT DSL will give automatically rebates for this inconvinience. I hope so, I supposed to chat with Mr. John Arlo Gilbert [1] via YM but due to this inavailability of internet connection we were not able to update things.I also suffer today with the problem with Short Messaging Systems (SMS) services of Smart . I started to receive delayed text messages then after that no more text messages or replies received from my expected people. Other people also experience the same problem. Baby for sale on eBay, do you believe that? I've watched several news from different documentaries on TV about baby being sold by their mothers for money since they can't afford to take care their baby. It's illegal in the Philippines and I actually see how the parents were put on jail because of this activity. But this one, a high-tech selling of baby, making a bid over a baby on eBay is really so outrageous. I don't know if use the term correctly but people really can't think of anything to make their lives better. According to the news about this baby on eBay, it's just a practical joke and they are not actually selling their babies but the authorities were really alarmed with this kind of "joke". Anyone should be!I think this is a bad joke and I guess eBay and authorities should be very aware of this kind of activity over the net. It might be a joke for now but maybe later it will be serious.

Chess Champion for the First Time

Finally, for the first time in my life, I won the chess tournament recently held in Roxas City, Capiz. The said tournament is participated by several strong players of the province including the last year's champion. My practice and my losts in chess really become fruitful. After losing several chess games in my life, I finally win this one. It's both honor and cause satisfaction. How to Deal with Bandwidth Limit I.PH or not

Now I know what will be the problem that I will be facing due to reaching bandwidth limit on this blog. The problem will be pictures from the photo gallery of this blog will be inaccesible instead you will see all your pictures will be replaced with the tag "BANDWIDTH EXCEEDED". Now, I'm featuring some pictures on some of my topics and without this pictures my post will be useless so what I have did was to find means on how to deal with this situation.What I did was I uploaded all the pictures I've used on this post on a different image hosting site. In my case, I used the features of the Adobe Photoshop Express. In the first place, I should use pictures from the said image hosting but I did not know the case on the bandwidth issue. It's only the 22nd of May and I have already reached the bandwidth limit of I.PH which is 2000MB bandwidth limit. I've consumed it already! I am inform by I.PH that even if I reached the bandwidth limit, I can still access my blog but the problem is the widgets are possibly marked as unaccessible. A friend of mine, the friend that I was talking about on my previous posts were given the opportunity to manage the domain of Mr. John Arlo Gilbert [1]. He had given the chance to use the site for any purpose he wants as long as it's not offensive, illegal or will cause any problem on the original author of th domain. He is lucky because he got a chance to own a domain for himself. Even if the name is not his name.Well, the site is using Wordpress version 2.5.1, the latest secure version of Wordpress, a content management systems that allows you to manage the content of your website. Today, I received another comment from my previous post on removing viruses that uses autorun.inf. Recently, Microsoft drops the deal with the internet company Yahoo . The deal is not successful after several attempt of Microsoft to acquire Yahoo. I have read that Google might be merged to Yahoo! Wow, this will be great and we will not hear any companies like Yicrosoft or MS Yahoo! :D Instead the possible new company names are Gahoo! or GooHoo! (This is not an official statement from them of course, it's just my hunch :D) Aside from Google, Yahoo! also considers other major internet media and advertising such as the Time Warner, Inc's AOL. Got PR3 on Recent PR Update!

Yes, I got PR3 again! Nah, I'm not talking about this blog. I'm referring to my one of my blog on Blogger.com. It has PR0 the other month and when I check it this week, I found out that the pagerank increases to 3. Maybe the reason why it happens is because I disable the display of labels or tags clouds to be displayed on the sidebar of the blog. This only shows that Google hates lot of internal links on your pages. I forgot the article that I have read about this links discussing that you should minimize too much internal links on every page. It is because Google hates large average links per page of sites since this tags or label links are considered to be spam by Google.Wee... and Smorty started to give me another PPP opportunity but I'm not accepting it yet since opportunities given are not related to my blogs. Setup Canon PixMa iP1880 in OpenSuse / Linux

Today, I successfully configured the printer Canon PixMa IP1880 on OpenSuse 10.3 system. I setup the said printer to  OpenSuse because I want to share it to 50 computers attached to this server. I tried to install it using the YAST and select from the list of printer drivers but it does not work so I tried to look for drivers over the internet and find it on Canon's website. Here's the following steps I have done to configure properly the printer to work on OpenSuse 10.3 (the source of this instruction is from the guide provided by Canon).First, I downloaded the printer driver in RPM. I downloaded two RPM: cnijfilter-ip1800series-2.70-1.i386.rpm and cnijfilter-common-2.70-1.i386.rpm.These two RPM requires GTK & libxml to be used properly, so you need to install it through YAST. Yesterday, I have encountered two cases of severe computer virus infection on two computers. I can't remove it manually and even with the aid of virus removal tools and anti-virus programs. The users of this PCs downloaded and installed a cracked anti-virus program. I don't know why did he tried to do this. Maybe he can't afford to buy the license one. I currently updated my Wordpress blog in Freeweb7.com because I have read that the previous versions of Wordpress has some security issues and Technorati marked this sites as non-indexable because of this vulnerabilities. The problem that I encountered is when I log-in the site admin the page redirects to a blank page. I don't know if this problem is on my web hosts or on wordpress (by the way I'm using a free web hosting site with safemode on). Another problem is when I created a new post the page also redirects to a blank page. This happens when wordpress started to autosave the current posts I will try to find for solution for this kind of problem and if I can't, well I'll give up with this one blog and try to start a new blog. Today, I have just received the Google Adsense Personal Identifcation Number (PIN). It was mailed to me by Google Adsense Support directly from US. Actually, I was expecting this PIN last month so that I can complete the "enable payment" steps of Google Adsense. This only means that when my earning in Google reaches $100, I can request for the payment for this through WU Quick Cash. I hope I can reach to that earning :D. But I think it will be very difficulty for me to reach it because I still don't have my own paid domain and the Google Ads here is 50/50. Well, it's ok at least this is a good start for me on making money through Google's ad programs. Thank you for I.PH and Google as well (even G drops my PR). For those who have there own site and wishes to monetize it or you already monetizing it, please read the new policy of Google on placing adsense on your site.
